GTA IV, all the Halo games, and Gears of War 1 and 2 are by far the most overrated games.
GTA is overrated and disappointed me since they decided to go back and redo Liberty City. After Playing San Andreas I found IV underwhelming in almost every degree.
Halo. Average is what I think best describes it all. Very shallow characters, 1 man army mentality, and appeals to people mostly 16 years and younger.

Gears of War 1 and 2 are so overated! Especially the 2nd one being exactly like the first game with 1 new game mode and still the same unlikeable characters

I just wait till somebody decides to sell it on ebay and then I get it. Buying a limited edition exclusive to that store doesn't really sit right with me. It's just a marketing scheme to make more money for the retailer.
