SNES for me. It was my first console purchased with my own money and at the time was my proudest investment. I've spent an un-countable number of hours playing Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, Sim City, Act Raiser, Super Mario All Stars, and NBA Live 95 just to list a few games. I purchased it in 1993, I still own it today, and it still works great. I've never had a console since then that has gathered so many friends into one room to hang out and just game.
Per n4g.com standards the Vive and Oculus will be the next Wii. PSVR will be a game changer and THE product of 2016.

I think for the hardcore gamer it's a gimmick. My experience with the VR (Vive in particular) is it drew people in that aren't gamers. It's a heck of a party experience and it entertains a group of people for hours.
HTC is still back ordered until at least June, so there is a strong demand for it right now. Then again the Wii was the same, so...
