I agree, I loved the first Halo but I couldn't stand Halo 2 or 3. After playing the Reach beta, it brought me back to the Halo 1 days with the gameplay. I really hope it lives up to the original, but I'm not doubting Bungie, this being there last Halo game I really think I'm going to enjoy this as much as the first one. Its kinda weird that I'm excited for a Halo game lol.
I was actually thinking about going to the NYC one downtown, but since I'm going to be getting the game in the next few day, I would probably get jumped while trying to get Bungie to sign my copy of the game by raging Halo fans that have to wait until midnight lol. I still might go though just to have some fun.
The PS3 version of FF13 was the superior version, it had nothing to do with the 360, if they wanted to add all that stuff in the PS3 version they could have, but they didn't. By your logic the 360 held back the PS3 version of Mafia 2 which is why the grass and various shadow textures were cut from the game then right? Its up to the developers on how much they want to implement in each version of the game, if they wanted to add all that stuff they could have easily done it and just made th...
That is hideous, I'll stick to my black DS3.
"I am speaking on behalf of a number of people who believe that EA should not be selling such a game to minors, particularly one that allows one to play the role of the Taliban."
EA is not selling the game to minors you fucking nimwit. If a M rated game is sold to a minor its the retailers fault, Gamestop, Walmart, Best Buy, etc, not EA. EA does have its own store online but you must purchase by credit or debit card, and to get one you need to be 18 years old. So ch...
I agree with both of you, I also use my 360 for every multiplatform mainly because I like XBL better than PSN, and I like the 360 controller better. Then I use my PS3 only for exclusives, with the exception of FNR4 because no one on my 360 friends list bought it, and UFC 2010 because I wanted the UFC fights on Blu-ray. Other than those 2 games I bought every multiplatform for 360, and I use my PS3 to download movies hahaah.
I could care less if Move or Kinect fails or succeed...
I said the same thing in the article of the screenshots, but this video changes my opinion completely. He slammed into the wall at 80+ MPH about 4 or 5 times before he even got a loose bumper, and then about 10 more times at 80-100MPH before any real damage was shown. I just went from impressed, to completely disappointed.
The way I see it is, if you're going to implement damage into a racing simulator, we as gamers can understand the actual cosmetic damage isn't goin...
Ouch...
WaW is my favorite COD to date. I hate WW2 games but WaW really stood out to me and I played it more than any other COD.
I love the stupid ignorant people who think anytime something could be positive about MS its instantly "but but but they paid" or "M$ paid them off". If there is one good thing that MS does better than other company its advertising, you think Bungie spends all their earning on the Halo ads? No MS does, and sometimes advertising can be good i.e Halo live action commercials. MS fanboys don't even jump on MS dick as much as people like you do, its pathetic. If you hate MS...
IMO its kinda stupid to compare GT damage to Burnout because Burnout will win every time. Burnout is famous for its epic crashes and damage effects, where GT is famous for the actual driving. If for some reason GT or Forza got damage like Burnout, I would shit my pants, and then be happy lol.
I think those all will be nominated, but I only see Halo Reach, LBP2, or Mass Effect 2 actually winning. Its really going to be a tough call with LBP2 coming out this year, because LBP2 is such an innovated, amazing game that no one else can even come close to. I'm excited to see who actually takes the crown though.
Dude Halo 3 outsold every single Gran Turismo besides GT3 A-spec. You really expect a 3 year old game to outsell a 9 year old game? GT and Halo are big Franchises, if you want to compare Halo and GT in sales, wait till GT5 hits since its released a few months after Reach, and not 6 years before Halo. Seeing how Halo 3 is past 11 million in sales in 3 years, where GT3 is almost at 15 million is 9 years, I would say Halo 3 sales are pretty impressive.
Being a PS3 and 360 owner and playing both Mass Effects, I feel bringing just Mass Effect 2 (And 3 I'm assuming) to PS3 is like a slap in the face. I really wish they could bring the first game over to PS3 as well, the story is so deep and the first game has many impacts on the 2nd one as well as the 3rd one. If you're going to bring a trilogy to another platform, you need to do just that, not parts of it. I know Bioware is going to do something to help PS3 only users understand, but ...
I think the author brings up some good points, like Nathan Drake killings hundreds of men just for some lost treasure. Was it necessary? No, I'm sure ND could have came up with more creative ways than to kill people, but killing in video games is fun and people enjoy it. On the other hand, games like Mafia 2 where its set in a violent time period and being the Mafia and all you would think it would be a super violent game, but it actually isn't. After completing Mafia 2 I realized how...
Hopefully Treyarch's new "grief" system will help with glitchers and cheaters, as well as them being able to watch every game you play through theater mode. As far as the noob tubers, there is playlist that don't include them now, or they are random. After seeing the full mutliplayer reveal I have faith and Treyarch and going to pick this up. I just hope I don't regret it.
The fuck...
Mafia 2 may have no lived up to the hype of the crazy fanboys on the official forums (yes they are insane...like psychopaths and what not) but this game is far better than a 6, its an 8.5 at the lowest. I'm on my 3rd playthrough because I love the story in this game, and the amount of detail put into the game is truly something special. There are a few complaints I have about the game, but certainly nothing strong enough to give it a 6 out of 10.
Yes he does, but there is a difference here. He said "casuals really have no interest in playing HARDCORE games even with motion control". Kinect has like 2 hardcore games, that is if you count Dance Central and that fighting game by Ubisoft, the rest is all casual games, which appeal to casual gamers. Casuals games+advertising+casual gamers=$$$$$$$$.
Does every video game website forget about the best online TPS ever made even to this day? SOCOM 2 Hello!!!! Give me a SOCOM 2 remake on PS3, and you wont see me until the PS5.
If they charge for a patch for any game to enable Move support, that is just pathetic.
