All I have to say is if PS3 only fans REALLY wanted a piece of Gears of War, they got it, but to say that is just insulting Gears of War because of how horrible this game is. I couldn't even finish the demo and had that shit deleted within minutes. Everything about QT is just bad, horrible graphics, unresponsive cover system, clunky controls, you name it. Honestly URT3 is a better representation of Gears than this trash.

MS has almost nothing announced for 2011 and to think there isn't going to be any games because they haven't announced them in 2010 is just stupid. Agreed. Ever since Borderlands launched Gearbox climbed a very high list to one of the top spots on my favorite developers list. I'm glad they are the ones making it and I don't doubt them one bit. This game will be great, even if its not everything people have been waiting for, for 10 years, it will still be amazing.

It actually does a lot, which is why I'm buying it. IMO Halo 2 & 3 sucked compared to the first Halo, and seeing how Reach seems to be going back to the roots, its a day 1 purchase for me.

It has nothing to do with "tampering" with the PS3, its all software related.
No you don't, if you read the article it tells you that you connect them through FTP servers, and you edit the PARAM.SFO file to enable Remote Play while being offline. It doesn't say anything about having an older firmware update, so as long as you don't sign in to PSN, even with the current firmware, it will still work.
They have already done that. Forza 3 is a perfect example.
