It's funny. Every time one of these releases, you hear all about the hate and people making fun of it. For myself, I always buy it day 1. It always gives you exactly what you expect. A big budget exciting spectacle and then you get the MP too. How can that not be worth the $60 each time? I have never played any of these games and said "That sucked" afterward. Can't wait for Nov. 6!
Actually, it looks like they needed the extra time to flesh out more story and action such as fire fights etc. and more of a "point" to all the action. My opinion anyway. Otherwise the whole just fly around the galaxy alone with only exploration as the hook would really get quite old and boring fast. Just my guess.
Actually, If you didn't tell me what this was, I would swear it was a sequel for the film Ex Machina. Right down to her escaping into the world to experience freedom. Also, if anyone digs that concept, check out the TV show Humans as it is pretty much the same exact idea. Can't wait!
This company is amazing and I hope they sell a ton. For myself, I don't really have that much time or patience anymore to create with a program like this. But, amazing none the less.
I agree. I only needed a little hands on time to pretty much see that I was definitely going to enjoy this. I grew up with the Star Wars films and I can see why some may complain about certain aspects of the game, but they must understand that there will be some tweaks and fixes and most likely a bit of a learning curve. The DLC will probably include some cool stuff but we'll have to wait and see. I am looking forward to it though!
It's a very cool game. I enjoyed it and can see it being successful. It most likely won't take the place of Battlefield for me though. I can see getting a lot of fun out of it and will definiteley be picking it up.
As a longtime fan of Star Wars, I can say they certainly nailed it all around. The only thing I wish they had was the space battles. But this will probably be added later. Excellent job overall in my opinion.
There are plenty of remasters I would absolutely buy day 1. A few examples are: Resistance, SOCOM, Medieval, Uncharted, Killzone. It just depends on the individual. I like seeing games I played the hell out of with a new coat of paint and bumped up additions. Even with Uncharted'slack of MP, is still going to be awesome. But my biggest hope would be for SOCOM. SO much fun back in the day.
Now, just have auto matchmaking and I'll go back.
I personally sometimes get sick of the "Sim" type RPG games. Some people love all of the micro managing of stats and such. But after a while it seems like too much work. Sometimes I just like to kick back and play a game with some depth to it, but not a full on RPG. Anyone understand what I mean?
No. There is a petition going around to be signed for ION to take the initiative and make it happen.
It would be better with Online play and ION drum set support.
You sir are correct! I actually spend more time now that I'm older and have my life and act together.
EXACTLY! As a grown man, I am always amazed that if some other adults here me and someone else speaking about a game, some people look at you like your the most immature, idiotic thing they've ever seen. And then they go on to say, Oh, I NEVER would have time for that foolishness. I would much rather go fishing or hunting or (Insert Hobby here). As if their likes and things that make them happy are any more valid than the rest of the world's.
Well, I have always felt that working hard and then becoming wealthy is far different than being born into it. I see what this guy is saying but hey, first world rich man troubles right? If I were to suddenly become mega wealthy, I would take care of a few people close to me and see that they always had a place to live and food to eat. Aside from having my nice toys, I've always wanted, and a decent house, not a mega mansion mind you. I would start helping out people who were not as fortu...
I have it and think they did a fantastic job. Actually they should have released this in October on Halloween. But I am enjoying it very much.
I must get MGS, but I will be game-flying Mad Max as well.
I purchased the Digital version, and it never said anything about PS move compatibility. It said "Motion controls" and it even describes this in the instructions as well as showing you an animated icon of a Dualshock controller moving when it gives you the option of choosing the method of controls, Nothing confusing about it from here.
As a grown adult who has worked in a professional job for many years. I can honestly say I don't consider anything a "Waste" of time if you are enjoying yourself. I consider gaming very much like film or music, except it brings together many different things all in one and allows us to interact with them all simultaneously. And in many cases if we are playing with friends online across the state and even different countries, than it actually allows us to meet many people in far ...
No, the game isn't "Trash" you should really clarify by saying "In my opinion the game is trash". Put it this way, if you like Star Wars, you'll most likely love the game. Is it a life altering experience, no. It is however a fun game, in a long list of fun games. If you hate it, you can always play something else.
