I think that's a bit below the actual number, they said 100 hours (which is probably discounting how much side-stuff and mini-games you can get lost in) I'd expect with a normal-ish playthrough enjoying some of the side-content you'll easily top 100 hours, might be more like 140-150 hours tbh ^^.
I wonder how many hours completing everything fully will take, can't wait.
Everything expands over time, you get more stuff to do in combat without spoiling anything that makes it feel more fluid and less repetitive, story is great, sidequests are kinda meh imo.
I find it funny that you said the character quality of FF7R not being that great lol, there's not a lot of games that do characters better then FF7R does, honestly.
14 Hours into the game and I have a hate/love relationship with it, the story and cinematics are great, the combat.. I really feel like if they went for DMC like combat they should've just gone full DMC and allow us to do insane juggle combo's etc. that however really is not the case which is kind of a downside to me, cause then I'd rather have a combat system closer to FF7R in it instead, so the combat is kind of the part that is lacking to me at least.
30-70 Hours of which 18 are cutscenes? seems highly unlikely to me because that would indicate a gameplay would be 12-52 hours which is... a really big gap of hours for gameplay lol, also there's definitely not 12 hours of gameplay and 18 hours of cutscenes xD.
I would think it'd be more about 25-30 hours gameplay and 15-18 hours of cutscenes, so about 45-ish hours total.
I agree with this comment but just fyi, sekiro is all about parrying, bloodborne is not.
I actually really like bloodborne's dodge mechanic the most out of all the souls games, sure parry can get you a visceral attack on a boss to do some more dmg but it is definitely not needed
Just remake the game, don't add anything I don't trust Konami to change anything and pull it off properly at the same time.
So no thanks :>
Demo was nice, felt a little sluggish in combat tho, recovery animations are too long and cannot cancel/dodge which feels like you are 'forced' to play it safe and just throw in a single hit on enemies/bosses until you memorize their movesets and know when you can add in 2 hits, cancel/dodging allows you to risk and react if your 2nd hit wasn't a smart idea you still get the chance to dodge out of the way if timed correctly, I really miss that in this game, makes it feel a bit ugh...
Tried the demo, like a lot of stuff but 1 big dislike is you can't cancel animations into dodge recovery frames for animations are too long, so if you play strength type build for example you really can only land 1 hit and gotta play it safe because you can't cancel/dodge, hope they change that before final release.
'Just lets them wrap it up quicker so they can move onto a Final Fantasy VIII or VI remake' Already shows why you are outing your comment the way you did ^^, I like FF8 and FF6 too and FFX, but I really don't want them to rush any of them because we won't get a different remake after these ones (at least for a loooooooong time lol) so I rather they fine-tune it as much as they feel they need to.
There are plenty of good reasons that they did not do everythin...
If you liked MGS4, do give the others a try someday would be my 2 cents, even if only because they make MGS4 so much better because of material referencing to the other games in MGS4
This is such a weird statement you really believe that?
Most of what made MGS great was Kojima's direct input from mechanics to story beats etc. without that MGS would never have been as revolutionary let alone even BETTER, lmao.
Overrated? Don't think so, there's only a handful of games that have had such an impact on the gaming industry as MGS has.
It's a slow paced game, not a walking simulator like a lot of the critical people make it out to be, sure there is a lot of delivering to be done but honestly, it's just a unique experience of which the delivery happens to be a part and it actually boosts the not delivery parts of the game imo, because the pace switches from relaxed/zen to action/philosophic/horror/stor ytelling etc.
It's just... a really solid creative take on trying something new imo.
Cloud is the more interesting character, Zack is the more likeable one.
Cloud's character is used to convey a lot of different themes then Zack's which makes it hard to pick a 'better' one, it's like asking what is the best approach to a situation in which several approaches could be considered best.
I love how everyone always speaks for an entire community, speak for yourself I enjoyed the Remake (but to me OG FF7 will remain the GOAT) also the name alludes to something different (Remake, it's not literally a Remake it's a sequel and the title instead refers to something else which is spoiler territory, also the 2nd part will be named Rebirth, it is all named for a different reason, otherwise we'd have gotten Remake 2, not Rebirth.)
You could easily have fo...
He's working on multiple projects and also he is doing what he wants to do, you'd want him to do what he wants to do or cater to certain individuals making something he doesn't want to himself (like some of the MGS games, he wanted MGS3 to be the last but ofc business pushed him to work on the next one) I for one am happy for the man that he can finally just pick what he wants to work on instead of being pushed into a project he doesn't nearly feel the same amount of passion ...
I don't even want a discussion about sex vs violence lmao, there's nothing inherently wrong about erotica nor sex (unless without consent/forced of-course) however violence is always bad, no discussion necessary there.
Also have you been living in a cave because there are PLENTY of games over the years that do violence with the entire gore palette involved, some even glorify violence etc.
End of the day it's a matter of separating fiction from...
Dunno why I can't reply to your other reply below mine but the article you posted proposes harsh statements that the studies that it links to do not back up at ALL, have you checked any of these studies instead of just blindly accepting them cause they fit your perspective?
For example, the article states that porn can cause hypofrontality, damage to the prefrontal cortex in adulthood is termed hypofrontality, which predisposes an individual to behave compulsively and m...
I understand you having a strong dislike for something but that does not justify spreading misinformation to others in a hope to scare them off of porn.
What you said has 0 scientific basis/research.
Not that I care that much but I do care for others developing fear and/or guilt based on BS.
People are so shocked at erotica games it's almost funny especially considering that there's games where you massacre entire populations and all kinds of stuff that'd go way beyond what a little erotica does, this selective outrage has become so funny it's ridiculous.
I don't indulge in erotica games but I do understand there being a market for it, nothing wrong with people enjoying it either, just like we enjoy different types of content let people enjo...
