Waiting for the Killzone 2 release is going to make this week seem like forever.
I also live in the US and have yet to see a KZ2 ad anywhere.
So is this to combat the KZ2 launch?
As an American I disagree. Out of the 11 of my friends that own a next-gen console 9 of them own PS3s and the 2 that own 360s have told me they want to buy a PS3 just for the blu-ray (which is a lie they know they want the games). So I think we'll be seeing a PS3 revolution here shortly.
If there was a MMO to play then I would be all over that for a long time, but normally I just stick with the latest and most popular online FPS.
I love the controls just the way they are. If you can't deal with having to actually adjust your gun manually then don't play this game, it's that simple.

I also changed the controls to get them as close as I could to CoD, since I'm used to that layout. But after playing the demo for a second time the controls just felt right set on the Standard 1 layout. Just give the controls a chance and I bet you'll love them as well.
Absolutely stunning. I love it. The controls seem to suck at first but after you play a couple times they seem to be a perfect fit. I loved it.
If you could just press instead of hold L2 to kneel in Alt 2 that layout would be perfect for me.
I'm mainly talking about when people compare this demo to other full games. it's just not possible to do fairly.
I know, but I'm saying if you truly want to judge a game you're going to have to play the whole thing.
I really don't think you can properly judge a game based on a 10 min demo. What makes a game great is the the story, and the moments that make you go "Awe" with your eyes glazed over with joy and excitement.

yea exactly. The game could have sold 1 copy before the reviews came out so selling 19 more isn't much. It would just be nice to know the actual sales figures.
Anyways, I've had my copy pre-ordered over a month now.
