wii is a cash cow cashin in on mario, shovelware and games that appeal to mum and dad and they are floggin that cow to death. there is a handful of proper good quality games. the gamecube is a better console than the wii even today and the cube was last gen.

In my opininion the ps2 is one of the best consoles to be ever released jus by the sheer amount of quality. go metacritic and add all the games above 90 together on the wii, n64 and cube. those 3 consoles together cant beat the ps2. so no, nintendo hasnt been king for a while and its the 360 and ps3 this gen slugging it out to be king.

Games like gta are crippled. if you have multi disk for a open world game like this then the game will be a disk swapping mess
I noticed to. PS3 went from a lead in europe to 800K behind. it also went from 5M behind to 6.2M behind the 360 ww. all theis adjustment went against the grain of what NPD were showing and what each company posted for the number of consoles shipped. SW sales in US are way off for the PS3 aswell.
Look at it from this POV.
Halo 3 spent $50M on marketing in the US alone.
Sony don'tspend stupid amounts on advertising so profit wise what money they made is a lot closer than the sales gap.
At the end of the day Sony is a company and its all about profit.
Also this is what Sony do with most of their games so while the 360 gets all the glory in the USA the PS3 post inferior games sales to the 360 but a more even profit from game sales.

As for assassins creed. they are just about on par with each other WORLDWIDE. with the 360 having a 6M more install base.

Well I thought it handled exactly like a powerful car.
The new physics engine rocks and very challenging to master.
If some people find it to challenging they can put on all the assists when the final version comes out.
