GT5 is an awesome sim. People who prefer arcade racers will not like it so at the end of the day its down to your own preference.

I hear what you're are saying but most of the hate for forza stemmed from Turn10 who slagged off GT and polophony with their pretentious comments. As a big fan of GT I hated them for it and I'm not a Fanboy. So its only going to fuel the fanboys even more.

On serious note. This news is just stupid. Nobody expected Kinect to do well in Japan. And nobody expected it to even compete with GT5. So this is just stupid.
Kinect selling more than enough in america alone to make sucessful.
Wouldn't mind playing Halo Reach. Heard a lot of good things about it. Could be my first Halo purchase.

Also GT doesn't blow its load on first day sales (which seems to be the thing this gen) and then disappear. It as legs. Check its sales history, it still sells pretty well years after, a bit like San Andreas.

The flack that Gran Turismo is getting lately is unjustified.
The features and cars (even if half of them are japanese manufatures) this game offers for the price of 1 game is nothing short of amazing and a credit to PD.
