Considering the only guns available at that time were flintlock smoothbore weapons, I don't think you'll be fighting all that much with guns. Hell you had a gun in 2 and it was shit.
People fail to realize that melee combat was still used in that time and it was actually very practical, almost as many soldiers were killed by bayonet as they were by gunfire and most American soldiers also carried knives or axes because very often combat would degrade from lines of tro...

I was very reluctant to start the series in fact, I almost didn't finish one because I didn't like it a whole lot...That changed quickly.
The Mass Effect Universe is one of the most fleshed out and imaginative universes I've seen in any Sci-Fi. Not to mention that Gameplay is just freaking excellent.
Combat in 1 is a little lacking, but don't let that stop you because in 2 and 3 it&...
I love the Multiplayer, I think it's actually incredibly well done.
My one complaint is the way in which you unlock shit, it's all down to luck, which is really really frustrating when you want to unlock a certain thing, but you get something completely different.
That said, The Female Vanguard I've been playing with is a fucking powerhouse!
