this is MS's longest developed game ever. 4 years and 6 months....

My favorite console last year was PS3 too. I loved Gears 2 campaign, Im not Fable fan but people say its good, L4D was really good too, and I personally wasnt impressed with NG2 but that obviously attracts people. But in the end, MGS4 exceeding my hype, LBP being f!cking awesome, Resistance 2 was solid, Valkyria Chronicles was amazing, and Im not a fan of Motorstorm but it has a pretty big fanbase, I totally think PS3 had a the best 2008.
how the hell is this the best year for 360. I want to know what they're smoking and where I can get some?!

2007= Mass Effect (the BEST 360 exclusive), Bioshock (was exclusive and blew everyone away), Forza 2, COD4, Halo, Orange box (Episode 2 IS the best FPS ever), and a bunch of XBLA games that were awesome.
This only double confirms what GTplanet said. With GT5 pretty much confirmed from 1up and IGN to be coming out this year, it has eclipsed my anticipation for Uncharted 2, AC2, and MW2. I am so hyped and ready for this game, I'm gonna devote all my playtime pretty much for GT5.

I just want to know what the PS3 or sony have done to these people for them to always get a crack at the PS3 when ever they can.
In terms of software sony has huge momentum. Literally everything MS has planned for this year and next, sony has a counter, and then some. Its too bad they lost the Splinter Cell and Mass Effect franchises from third parties (which coincidentally are MS's biggest games next year, and will be the best for them :P), but they're rocking the first party. They're doing a good job at pushing graphics too, which will always win over the media when it come to PS3.

Infinity Ward has yet to make a game that isnt amazing. CoD2 was awesome, CoD4 was amAzing, why would MW2 be any less?
The new Multiplayer trailer for MW2 looks much better than CoD4's.

and ODST is just more Halo...with a new mode and visor. The only thing that looks cool to me is the art style...but even with that the visuals still look outdated.

I think this game will be independently developed on the PC, and then independently developed for PS3 and then be ported to 360 (or 360 then ported to PS3).
Why? Because the CE2 is more impressive than CE3, and for the PC Crytek will want to advance not go a step back.
also they tweaked the combat system so you dont have to pause while playing. Its way more streamlined and is less frustrating.

I see the resemblance, although the art style is different and RAGE is technically superior.
Fallout 3 is a depressing game. It sucks you into this world, and everything feels so barren, everything looks and feels sad, yet the game feels alive. I hope iD will capture this atmosphere in RAGE.
I dont want to wait until next E3 for an announcement. Actually none of their fans do. At the very least I would just like a reassurance that HL3 wont take as long as the predecessor (even though it'll probably run on a new engine), I want them totally dedicated to the game so we can get it faster, and they can print money.
I dont care, I just want Modern Warfare 2. After I get that game, I wont be bothered with Activision until the next Infinity Ward game.
