And lowering the price even more means they wouldnt make as much money...so what's the point? Unless you're saying that MS would launch a 360 slim at the same price as the regular one...again...what would be the point?
I dont think a price cut would spur sales. An Xbox 360 Slim would *maybe* (It would have to have different functionality, a new look and lower price point wouldnt keep it afloat for long). Natal is MS's last card and that is coming next year.
Its going back to the two old rivals agains (for this holiday)....Nintendo vs. Sony....I think its exciting to see the big 2 go back at it after a long time where one would just demolish the other...

I still cant believe that PD is bringing head-tracking to consoles.
GT5 will be the first game to do on consoles if it comes out this year, and that is just amazing to me.
Its like, the racing genre has needed something innovative for a while now, and while Forza 3 and GT5 will introduce new features that are gonna be cool, head-tracking is definitely what the genre has been asking for. Something new, fresh and innovative. I really hope this game comes out this year....
Half life 2 (especially episode 2)=Best FPS of all time.
That said, Im not a PC gamer and L4D isnt that great (IMO), but yeah Portal was freaking fantastic and Episode 3 could be better than 2. Im just not excited for what Valve is doing at the moment.

although thats to be expected. The best thing here is that the gameplay look super awesome. Looks totally fun and the co-op will be the icing on the cake. All I want from this is for it to come out this year. PSN has really had a great year for games...
same for me. I wasnt very interested in this game but the story and characters in this trailer alone makes me VERY interested. Also, those insane crazy graphics help :P
those graphics (especially character models) are freaking insane. And the story seems so emotional. This trailer was really well done and is the best trailer for this game yet. *claps*
dont forget though, we have always had a firmware in the summer, and another during winter/fall. Its always been that way so we are pretty much guarenteed another update by the end of the year.
I personally LOVE the fact that new avatars are coming, plus the new notification stuff is very much needed.

Wow who cares if its a metroid rip-off? Metroid is my favorite Nintendo franchise and Super Metroid was one of the best games of all time. I'll say that this game doesnt capture the atmosphere of Metroid Prime and the art style doesnt blow away as a Metroid does, but for a download this game looks absolutely slick. I want this to become an XBLA franchise like Pixel Junk.
This isnt what MM are announcing for LBP tomorrow.
add levels to the friends list, we need REAL avatars, voice chat in-game (parties), and standardizing game invites across all games so that developers are FORCED to do it (it IS possible. see RE5, WipEout, LBP, R2, U2, etc...). Oh yea, and optimize the in-game XMB.
Thats all I want from PSN and thats what all of us have been asking for. If sony can just give us that they could do anything they want I couldnt care less. More importantly PS3 fans/gamers would be totally happy.
If only third-parties could adopt this instead of UE3....
Sony has the PS motion controller which is scheduled to come out in Spring 2010.
Also, Nintendo could always come out with the WiiHD to compete with Sony PS controller and MS's Natal.
