Don't feed the troll, there's people that hate KZ so much (for whatever reason, don't like it? Don't play it) they can't accept how good of a game series it is (or can be to someone) :P.

The feeling I had, as a gamer, is that MS gathered some managers and partners (TV) and planned the next console/experience.
It DOES feel they were and still are behind with both concept and implementation of this new console.
They DID present games at E3, but when you look closely, they mostly are kind of 360 portings (Ryse and Dead Rising) or just big buyout (COD and Battlefield timed-content exclusives). As if games were kind of an afterthought, compared to Kinect a...
Resistance 3 features a co-op campaign and playing with a buddy is awesome. I can't tell the difference with Resistance 2 because I didn't play the campaign, but as soon as I read about the co-op in the third I jumped on board, it's a solid experience.
I also liked the multiplayer a lot, more focused than in Resistance 2 although less epic. I enjoyed the characters skills and the crazy weapons, no idea how many people could still play it though, at this point.
Well, now that you have a PS3, do yourself a favor and play: Resistance 3 with a pal, Little Big Planet, Ratchet and Clank a Crack in Time, Sly Cooper Thieves in time, Journey, Flower, Heavy Rain, both Infamous games.
It's all PS3 exclusives that are unique, just out of the top of my head, I'm certainly missing some more.

Yes, I agree it's open to exploitation, but then, this is Planet Earth (and not the one from Star trek), people should always watch out for themselves and when something just wants to exploit, isn't usually too hard to tell (like this Smosh case you mention for example, I don't know what it is but it's clear many people thought it was over the top).

To me KS is one of the best things to happen on the internet.
Sure, things can go wrong and we're putting both money and faith into those projects, but I think the failure rate isn't too high (would be interested to have something like that tracked).
Personally I think most of the time it's a safe-bet.
I also believe people aren't just hopeless to get their money back if things go terribly wrong.

It was supposed to be released a few months ago, but they took their time polishing it, that sounds pretty good to me :)!
I tried it at E3 and the gameplay is very nice, not your standard platform and definitely focuses on the co-op side of the game.
To me, this could become Kuri Kuri Mix' next best thing and can't wait to get my hands on it! The style is awesome!

Truly Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time isn't a good game, it's a gem! It's absolutely FUNtastic, varied, has great humor and there's no letdown moment. Is great from start to finish. It's really a must-play for PS3 owners in my opinion.
