Agree with Doom-gate, despite the rather large obstacles they faced throughout this gen (created by them or not) I think they definitely learned to be a better company, and its showing a hell of a lot now.
1st, 3rd, 8th place in sells, doesn't matter. The fact that they still give me the content I want as a consumer is all I need, Sony, you get a thumbs up from me :) Good job!
"to difficult and not mainstream enough for my liking"
That statement just proves your a casual.
Title should be:
"Why This Article Will (most definitely) Certainly Fail!"
I don't even like the WiiU, but articles like these are super annoying to see EVERYDAY!!!
The same could be said for Blu-ray movies once they first hit the shelves. Why spend $25 on sharper graphics and better sound, especially if they had the movie already on DVD or VHS right? Did Disney fans say "Why is Disney wasting their time doing remakes when they need to release Toy Story 3 already!"? No, they didn't. and Blu-rays took off popularity wise and is now a standard for those with blu-ray players or PS3's!
If your complaining that HD remakes ar...
Agreed with the Halo thing. Really wished RE 4 got that kinda update :( the new HD version of it doesn't even look like much of a change
Pixel looks interesting, will pick it up for when it comes out ^^
Now I know not to have big expectations of betas from EA anymore -_- 2 days is sooo random~
Replace enemies with kids and Mario with Pedobear and this instantly becomes weird. Why would you need 1st person? especially with Mario's hands in that position? Otherwise, it looks great :0
Here's hoping it becomes a great game with all those talents! :)
Well at least Nintendo has a chance to compete with Vita now, if they didn't price drop, Vita would probably wipe the floor with them so now at least they have a chance.
but....
Team Vita <3
and I care why?
I'd go with the former
This must be the WiiU's theme song

That's what I was thinking, or Crash Bandicoot at least, that thing looks creepy!
PS1 games definitely had TONS of replay value and almost each game was a unique experience, unlike today's games. Though the games were not extremely memorable, I know I had a blast back then when I had the system. Parents also got me the subscription for playstation underground so I was knee deep in demo's ^^
Though I don't think the games are "still" the best to play "now". They were gems back in their time but you gotta move on at some point...
Uncharted gets my vote as well :)
Dark Souls being a close runner-up
Multiplayer and sales figures is all that matters these days ain't it? Guys like you are the reason singleplayer epics have died out and why multiplayer has become repetitive with little to no diversity (to get higher sales)
The story is getting me the most excited for this game, and the graphics are really nice too. Seen MP beta videos on youtube and gotta say it looks pretty fun, very fast paced :) If its not obvious by now this Resistance could be the best one made.
One-two more weeks for public beta ^^
Epic xbot fanboyism in the 1st sentence of the article, wow xD Brand loyalty only gets you so far...
-Fun wise, maybe.
-Competitive (online) wise, Battlefield wins in that department. Maybe even COD.
-Story wise, Half-life 2 takes a crap on any shooter that comes out.
So no, Halo is not the best FPS franchise of all time. Great franchise, but to say its the best is none sense without a majority vote.
