Here's my take on your points:
1) Nonsense and idiotic to "still" think that as both communities or on par in size, if anything their will be more people online with Ps3 as you have to pay for LIVE.
2) Indie devs aren't "tempted" to go on xbox first, their FORCED to go or lose out. What kinda company does that to the people who will make games for them?

I don't know about that, last time I checked, ID/Carmack said that their future titles we're gonna be built from the ground up on PC, maximizing PC's capabilities rather than consoles. Supposedly it was a "mistake" to develop on consoles first when they were making RAGE.

EA PS3 exclusive is intriguing indeed. Wonder if it'll sport the Frostbite 2 engine? Who knows. But, now that I think about it, wasn't Respawn making an FPS under EA, and under one of their job descriptions it said "PS3 experience a plus"? Whatever it is and whoever is making it, I just hope it's unique.
Anyways, hopefully Res 6 will be return back to its horror aspect :)

They will bring out the Ps4 from the dark depths, only when they need to. Sony said it themselves, and I firmly believe it. Why rush for no reason whatsoever? Not sure if a price cut would help much tbh, the thing is already as cheap as a console gets! The only thing that would keep Ps3 at bay is if Microsoft sprang up some unannounced games or offer sweet bundles with upcoming games. Other than that the match is already set I'm afraid :/

Well this is just one map, and agree it's a bit basic, but if you've played the beta map, then you know that the airplane part warrants "mind-blowing." As you said, its pretty standard for shooter maps. But Uncharted 3 is mainly a campaign game, so more focus is on that obviously while multiplayer is to just have fun, not blow your mind.

Blame graphics, since that's all EVERYONE seems to care about these days, more budget and work go into making it the shiniest game out there, then when you actually play it, it's utter crap. Why do you think games with story and depth no longer exist this gen(well, the majority anyway)? Ever since this gen started, graphics replaced story/fun in most games.
