Yeah I agree.. the art style/graphics... seem slightly cartoonish(not bad at all).. in a way that I think is going to be most beneficial to the game...
I believe because of Kingdom's art style the game isn't going to suffer from launch issues like other recent big title RPGS
like the issues in Skyrim... because everything is so technical and texture heavy... Amalur seems like the flow is seemless with smooth transition.

Everyone should be complaining about why can't a developer develop a new and intuitive system that hasn't been done by another game..
Most new releases are starting to feel familiar... Games we've all seen or played before in some other shape or fashion... a few tweaked details, a few changed storylines... that's what it's starting to feel like anyway.
hopefully I'm wrong.. because 2012 has some games that look interesting..

on Xboxlive the other night... Amy had like a 3 1/2 or 4 star rating... not sure how many ratings or if anyone even follows them.
I know PSN also has a rating's thing for their downloadables.
there are review scores and previews... and websites and trailers... and videos....
if you can't clearly choose a game that fits your liking with your own two eyes... than you need help... not all games are $60 bucks...
there are many outlets for games... arcade or indie... PSN games.. (discounts xbox/psn)... regular retail hardcopy games.. (new or preowned)

I believe the "toon side" art style is going to be the most beneficial factor...
something really strong inside tells me that KoA:RK isn't going to have anywhere near the problems associated with open world games/expansive games because of it's toonish art style.. I don't think it's going to strain the systems like many other games do.
Sweet... I really want to play the demo for KoA:RK but I already have it pre-ordered and don't want to potentially kill my buzz of the game from the demo...
that being said.. I haven't played any of the Mass Effect games before so I don't need to play the KoA:RK Demo to get that extra stuff..

this article was very good. I'm currently more than satisfied with both my Xbox360 and PS3 and all the games I've played and currently own.
but that doesn't mean I'm not excited about what's on the horizon.

I've only downloaded a couple full games... not a big deal for me. when the stuff DL's I just go smoke a bowl. by the time I usually come back in the DL is over or almost over
but actual discs... that's where it's going to stay for awhile..
