eh.. we all bleed red.

that's why the Crips are technically Bloods... fighting for no reason.

I only see one thing wrong with it... They shouldn't be using Black History Month as the selling point. There shouldn't be any profit at all.

The right thing to do would make it a free for all download instead of having a price. Kind of defeats the purpose of rememberance and equality.. Using the term "Black History Month" as means to make dough.

Edit - ok... So it was patched in with the normal Game update? if that's the case then m...

I have Skyrim and Amalur... both fun, both great.

KoA I'm loving it.. I'm sure at some point it will become mundane and stale like most games do after hundreds of hours..

I also recently just bought Folklore... I accidentally bought it twice.. ordered from Amazon and then when I went to Gamestop to pre-order Amalur I saw a copy of Folklore so I grabbed it up...

So now I have 2 copies my amazon order came in today... haha I'm a gam...

ok.. I'm not seeing the WOW references in this game at all..

if they are saying that because of the cartoony look then I'm calling bullshit...

because granted Blizzard has a hit with WoW.... KoA is drop-dead gorgeous... and the character models and environment aren't even comparable...

People just need to quit bashing the game.. It's bringing the elements of all the games we love together... that's what it's all...

They're not secret locations at all... You run around and they all appear on your map as icons... and once you locate them you can fast travel to... not really secret considering unknown locations still pop up on the compass when your are in the area. so yeah all you have to do is run around and you will uncover all these locations...

nothing secret about it at all.

every single one of these that you have listed.

You forgot about being able to hit the PS button to turn the system on aswell.

I didn't know about the download thing though.. I usually only get one thing at a time anyway. but it definitely is useful.

I see what you're saying..

But with Skyrim... It's kind of almost like all of our fault..

I mean individually WE all had expectations of what it was going to be like... And while it is good, it's pretty much the same format taken up a few notchs. But it can get mundane very quickly..

Now granted I have nowhere near the amount of hours on KoA yet. But, I like your Zelda comparison on style. But, everything seems fresh to ...

I like your list.. but what are you talking about no traps....

I've seen traps, there are wards to dispell..

many different and unique things that Skyrim can't do because of the mass strain the game puts on systems...

that's why KoA is so good compared to it... KoA doesn't suffer from any of those issues.. running around the world is seamless... it doesn't slow down like Skyrim is know to do.

poor man Skyrim... HAHAHAHA...

KoA... loads 10x faster then Skyrim..

different weapons Skyrim could only dream of implementing.

crafting items and socketable items... (reminds me of Diablo II, blows Skyrim out of the world)

doesn't seem to have any issues that Skyrim has... and PS3 Skyrim isn't the only broke one.. It has issues on all the systems...

I have no idea why KoA is getting so much...

This game is getting WAY TOO MUCH HATE....

I just spent the last 12 hours non-stop playing Kingdoms of Amalur...

and this game is just short of Amazing... I dunno what everyone is bickering about...

load times are well faster than anything Skyrim can compete with.... the game is fucking beautiful... the action is incredible... the story and missions aren't anythin out of ordinary if you're familiar with these types of games.....

I know. I have no quarrels with this game at all.. I keep hearing the "Art Style" has one of the main reasons...

and that is probably the worst excuse ever... because it is fucking beautiful... and because of this cartoony type art style KoA won't suffer any near the load times that Skyrim and other games experience.

Edit - Collectively with 40 Reviews on N4G... Kingdoms Of Amalur has 8.3.... Everyone should check this game out...

5094d ago 3 agree2 disagreeView comment

none of these reviews even talk about the crafting and socketable items...

that is awesome... reminds me of Diablo II...

crafted and socket items were the shit... i'm still in the early parts.. but good lord all the equipment from the pre-order bonuses and the demo...

I don't think a single game has given me this much crazy good shit with the pre-order codes.... I had like 43 items in my chest waiting in Gorhart

This game is a 9 and higher for me...

it's so fresh... the color palette is amazing.. I'm loving it.

they're bashing it saying the man character don't speak..

wow... many RPG style games have speechless characters.. if that was an item that actually affected the review score than that's really nit-picking for a low score.

5094d ago 3 agree3 disagreeView comment

The art style is one of the best parts of the game...

Sucks for you... Hope you learn... Art, Graphics, Story... many things make a game... because you are passing up on a good one... Maybe with some time you can pick the good games out.

Jaffe is leaving the company... the other dude is the Casual Gamer...

Jaffe is creating a new company.. because "Game are too big to be made 300 miles away"

Jaffe likes to work close with the team.. He currently isn't able to do that..

Jaffe has not confirmed he is making iOS or Casual Games..

David Jaffe has only said he is staying on ESP until Twisted Metal is done and after that he is starting a com...

yeah.. either way.. the man isn't laid off or fired.

he is leaving on his terms..

5094d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

David Jaffe did not get laid off.

He is the Co-Creator of Eat Sleep Play... he can't be laid off.

read his twitter account.. he has been very vocal and the day just started..

he is staying with ESP until Twisted Metal has launched and they iron out some of the first week issues... that being said he has announced he will start a company in the San Diego based area..

because he misses working with the development ...

5094d ago 0 agree3 disagreeView comment

Interesting... still going to get Twisted Metal though...

There is more to this story than the article suggests...

Jaffe leaving because of iOS... sounds a little too middle-school for me to believe..

it most definitely is something internal... and this iOS excuse is just a smoke screen for the truth...

I can wait for Shank 2 later on in the year when it's discounted.. too many full retail games still to play and I'm adding Kingdoms of Amalur in a few hours.

probably going to wait out this week and get Farcry 2 next week for the PS+ deal.
