I think it is more about ease... it's easier to just go to gamestop and trade in a older game for maybe a game you want to save a little cash... it's plausible....
I've traded plenty of games in... sure maybe I've been ripped a little in prices... but I usually have no problems... and I'm fairly civil if not friendly with the GS employees at my local store... small town... everyone knows everyone...

I've had no problems playing campaign online... well the first time I don't think everyone continued on to the next mission but that was like 4am est time today... so alot of people weren't probably on PSN yet....
I don't get lag until I try and play Freeplay.... that is omg... undescribable lag... so horrible... like that elementary school game "red light, green light"

it has to be bad atleast somewhat.... here we are at already 3 plus weeks of no PSN...
so that means they haven't made ANY money from "Downloadable Content" whether it be games, add-ons, avatars, themes, movies, map packs, outfits, minis, PS Classics.... they haven't made a single cent for over 3 weeks from any of this now....
also they have missed the weekly updates.... so who knows what they were planning on releasing in the weeks that...
and I've been playing my mandolin... and I registered for college.. and I played some Single Player games...
I've bought more gas and I've smoked more weed.
Name a multiplayer FPS and chances are you have heard many racial slurs and other derogatory comments(and GOD forbid a Girl starts talking).... let's see I'll name some games.... GRAW, GRAW 2, CODMW, CODMW2, Halo 3, Halo: Reach, KZ3, BFBC2, MGO, Homefront.... and I imagine all the FPS's I haven't played....
it's sad... I typically mute the entire list of people in the game... I rarely play in parties or with friends... so it is just me in the lobby.. no ...
yeah I can't wait for PSN to come back up.. I really want to play this Online... and I even got Homefront despite the bad reviews and everything.... I liked the MP in HF when it worked right..
But yeah, I contribute towards objectives.. But, I'm gonna kill some fuckers before I risk my ass trying to disarm a charge or something... I just think I play the way I would do it in real life... I take my time... I shoot and move... If I think I can't kill them I might ...
I wouldn't say it's crap... it seems like the entire game is structured like you are playing Multiplayer.... Singleplayer has some sort of story it seems but it's all laid out like a long ass Multiplayer Session with Computer AI....
you do objectives and stuff..... I think that's what makes the transistion between online and offline so seemless kinda because it's all essentially like the same backdrop.... it's like Singleplayer is Multiplayer without...
yeah.. I don't have many friends that play the games... no one had KZ3... only me and one of my friends would play MGO together...
I just freelance but in the actual game I always try to participate in a team effort... I mean I'll run and gun in some FPS... but I will do objectives and stuff aswell...
Basically, I usually just play online alone and have to rely on the luck of the draw when it comes to teammates.
I own it and played it for the PS3.... yeah... PSN is down... but I mean learn the game, play the campaign, hone your skills, learn the maps.... just get your game up and than before too long PSN will be back up...
I own both systems... Xbox Live got canceled because I took my Credit Card info off the account... they made it Silver... But, I just now got the token for my remaining time so i'll probably enter that back in considering I had like 5 months of Gold left....

I played it... I played like 2 campaign missions... and I did the 1st challenge....
it's kinda different... like it all just looks like MP gameplay but you got computer AI pals... but I mean I had a blast for the 3 hours I've played it... I think I got like 9 Trophies...
But, you can tell the game is mean't to be played with other people... so yeah... not having PSN currently is kind of a drag... but I mean playing the game and learning the st...

I got into the PS3 game late (I own Xbox 360 aswell)... Got it in Feb with the KZ3 edition... So, I still got plenty of games to catch up on... Like the Uncharted Series to name some more.
But PSN hopefully should be back up and running atleast the major functio...

But, "WE" the public did not know at the time this Homefront issue originally appeared.... Because I was constantly loading up the game trying to get the update that people were reporting that they received....

If I recall correctly it was a decent amount of european players reporting they had downloaded 1.03 as soon as they loaded up the game...(you know how it automatically updates) and others around the world weren't reporting any patch updates... Yeah, that's what I'm getting to. Dead Nation and inFAMOUS....
and I had $20 in my wallet before PSN went down... and they already said that money will still be on there.... so with the addition of the PSN+ I'll be able to get some good deals.. since some of the PSclassics are discounted and stuff.
