No they will not learn, because they only suggest to buy, which is by no means unethical. They are in this to make money as you would be if you actually had your own company. I am a long time Zelda fan, but BOTW has not been able to hook me even after 40 hours. As a huge supporter of open world RPGs it's Horizon, Witcher, Nioh, Neir and Shadows for me. What you seem to forget is that is exactly the formula that kills every Nintendo console, the fact that only Nintendo games do well. PlayStation consoles not only do well 1st party but also very well for 2nd and 3rd party. Why do you think they have all the games?

You guys seem to be forgetting that GT is built on year over year through free content, tracks, cars and features.
The deciding factor should NEVER be limited to content over immersive experience. By the looks of it, the people are choosing GTS in spite of it's "lower reviews and less content". The combination of my VR headset, G29 Steering Wheel, and Sony 4K HDR TV can't be matched for immersion and experience. My XB1 doesn't even present the option, and that in itself should tell you something.
Dude who cares about car count over quality? You act as though the car count somehow means that they all appeal to you. Furthermore, Mark my words GTS will have more features in the coming months, they often listen to their supporters feedback first.

Basing validity on reviews is like building a house on quick sand. Reviews are opinions remember, now think if it had a bad review but it served your needs? Then what?
