sony just has to play it cool for now and formulate a better strategy as far as releases are concern. Spread your releases wisely so that better marketing can take place.
Also with the next console looming it would be wise to tune down on ps3 exclusives and split those resources/invesments on the vita and ps4. One or 3 exclusives is all the ps3 would need going forward. Vita is the one in need here.
So let me get this straight. According to what your saying, Sony isnt going to continue making and selling what would the be a much older and cheaper ps3 because?
The ps4 or orbis will be coming sometime down the line, dev kits have been making the rounds as of late and bigs like Activision and EA have expressed their opinion on next gen hardware, Crytek has even gone on the record suggesting that their is a ps4 in the pipeline.

Vita needs more exclusive ips, one of these would help move units out there. Specially since this franchise does exceptionally well and in some cases extremely well.

Honestly if i redesigned the vita i would only make some minor changes here and there, for example;
Relocated the analog sticks further down to where the ps button is, so this way the d pad and face buttons are bigger and have space for a more natural dualshock feel.
Now, with that said the next thing i would do is relocate the select and start buttons down the middle where the psvita logo is currently located and in between those two buttons will be the ps b...

Why o why isnt there adobe flash and HTML 5 support? What is it about this device that it cannot support such a standard feature? I mean the ps3 browser supports some fashion of flash and everyone knows how bad the memory is on the ps3.

Question, when is this update up? I mean ive been waiting all day for this update to finally land so i can enjoy the vita they way it was meant to be.

The update video on the psblog suggests that the vita rendering engine was being tweeked to support HTML and JAVA. So i assume it will be able to, ofcourse i am not entirely sure.
But on topic, this is great news. Having to quit a game to access the browser has been a very inconvenient experience, and i am glad a solution is finally on the cards. Furthermore these are the types of updates that make the vita sexier and more importantly useful.

What i would love them to do is work on fixing resistance by making a proper sequel to resistance retribution in first person fashion. Make an excellent resistance game like we know you are capable off and thus takeaway the bad experience that was and is burning skies.

To me it sounds like youll be able to stream demos from the ps store and play the full version of those games while downloading them in the process.

Its time for American developers to stop hoarding their shooters. Everything i hear about the japanese gaming industry is bad on these sites. Its almost as if they want them to fail or be irrelivent.
The japanese are among the most creative and talented in the industry,i personally preferred a 60hour rpg than a 8 hour shooter with a bunch of broken patches.
Well this is pretty much expected anyways, but even so i feel the wiiu has no type of momentum. Yeah its a nice platform, but from here until the new consoles drop the games will continue to come out on current platforms. The last of us, mgs ground zeroes,bioshock, Gears of war judgment,darksouls 2, beyond 2souls,sly4,yakuza5,gta5,until dawn,puppeteer,watch dogs ect.
Plus one figures if the wiiu does get price cut, so will the current gen systems.
