The 1st perfect dark game was good the second wasn't, whats your point?
the 1st fable wasn't all that great, mediocre at best so does that mean the second will fail? lol seriously.
COD 2 was a smash hit COD3 wasn't even close, yet COD4 surpass many's expectations.
yeah xbox live is good, but home has its own appeal if you don't like that's cool move on but stop trying to insult the competition.

but hype or not this was so the case with both gears 1 and the 1st fable game of which one went on to become a hit while the other didn't live up quite to the expectations, in essence just because a game is good doesn't necessarily mean its sequel will brake any new grounds either as the example i like to often use perfect dark, the original was a hit the 2nd one however wasn't such a hit.

killzone 1 actually wasn't a mediocre game, it was actually one of the better shooting games found on the ps2 which by the way is a non-shooting platform, great graphics for its time, great story, great online component, and descent controls.
but really the ps2 wasn't design for the specs of a game like killzone 1 was intended for. besides the ps2 was just flooded with lots games, great games spreading from all sorts on genre, but mainly rpgs. Had killzone 1 ...

so ok i buy this tiny 26" which by the way i hate small tv's specially if were speaking hd here, now i get a 360 and this tv. so now i don't need a ps3? ok so im not getting a ps3 but...wait what if i wanted to stay over a friends house over the weekend? and wanted to show em some of the blu ray movies i have bout due to this combo?

here we go again, it seems every time i go on the net is like the world is targeting blu ray, after its success against hd-dvd.
yet many of these people would say and argue that MS should have built the 360 with an hd-dvd drive. so..wouldn't this make the 360 expensive as well?
one thing this journalist needs to realize is that sony has the most shares in blu ray so therefore their losses is for a good cause to who? to them of course.

what i take from this is, that Sony still has that leader mentality, by Microsoft stating it has first dips at tgs, Sony is going "ok than its all yours, take it we could cares less".
the way i think Sony sees this is we don't have to waste time and money, while you on the other hand need this more than Nintendo and us.

this is exactly what we need more movies of this caliber coming to blu ray, now universal has been backing blu ray with some descent quality in their films and to think they were once the main backer of the HD dvd format, i mean its understandable MS and universal are some what part of the same exchange so one can see ms atleast owning some parts of universal.

"free of charge" is a very important thing here, they double the harddrive space but added $100 to the price and to justify it they threw in a YEAR OLD game

i really think Sony should focus on getting this implemented asap, and while they are at it how about a few key features such as..
voice messages/voice mail, in-game invites, cross chat/in game chat and
ability to edit your tracks on your HDD. that alone would do justice for me. oh and unified friends list.
