Exactly! Sono421, you took the words put of my mouth. I want an Xbox but after everything I've seen since day one has put me off. I'm a gamer and want both systems but after all the deceit, they can forget about getting my money. Too much lying involved on there part and can't be trusted IMO.
Yea, the article states you can't control chat volume because of the way it has to be connected to the PS4. I have a USB headset also and I'm not able to control chat volume either. I believe it's because this was all included in the day one update because no current headsets were supported at launch. Maybe we'll see another update for this or people will start making headsets for the PS4. I'm not spending more than $70 for headphones tho.
Etownone, your post was dumb because you singled out the PS4 by stating its more powerful hich equals trolling. Get your facts straight also, the PS3 didn't take a hit because of Bluray, it was a new media fight between Bluray and HD discs and Sony is an electronics juggernaut and obviously was going to win that battle.

I'd buy a Kinect less Xbox for sure. I agree with you on that, they need at least two options for gamers. I hate how they're forcing it on people. They kind of have to tho, with all the media they're trying to do with the Xbox such as Skype and voice commands.

I am living my PS4! It's not all bad news out there. There's more working than non working consoles, you just hear about the bad ones more, that's all that's happening here. You better believe the Xbox will have failures too when it launces, question is will it worse? Only time will tell.
I agree. There aren't many who come to sights to review unless it's broken. They want their word out there as fast as possible because they're upset, and rightfully so. Im absolutely loving mine at the moment. Picked up Need for Speed Rivals and Killzone. Haven't bought a racing game in years but I'm loving it, stayed up til 2am playing this morning. Looking for friends actually for both games. Add JoshF24 if you want to do some racing or shooting up some people on MP.
No issue here either. I downloaded the update via USB drive last night and uploaded the patch to my PS4 when I got it earlier today. Some people should've listened to the reports and ateicles telling you to download it early on a USB to avoid sever overload issues.
Any word on what the announcement was? It's 11:15 here in FL and no update yet.
Same here, I love the single player component of video games. I'm a big movie person so I prefer to play the "movie" mode of video games. I'll buy this game on Friday but I won't spend much time in the MP. I'm not saying it won't be good, but it's not my preference, and I never spend much time in MP no matter what the game.
Ok I agree with the posters who believe this was intentionally done. If you zoom in on the left thumb stick and look just above where the supposed wear is from use, you can see scratches on the left over rubber. He did a good job of making it seem like its normal wear but those scratches don't exist on the right thumb stick. I'm calling BS.
@mister turbo, that's my exact thoughts also. MS will implement their strict policies in the future via mandatory update or you'll own a bricked console. This is reason enough for me to stay away from MS for the foreseeable future. If Sony adapts this two gens from now I'm done with gaming.
S2Killinit, I agree. I just have a bad feeling from MS this gen from what they have planned, or had planned with DRM and requiring a constant Internet connection. I believes they'll bring it all back with mandatory updates in the future and I want no part of that.
Why? I want it to succeed because I liked the 360. I have both a PS3 and 360. They both have their strong points but MS really loss me this gen because of what their doing with the console. It's multimedia first, games second. Sony is all about it gamers this gen and them proved it over and over. That's why I picked a PS4 this time. Gears was a lot of fun, I love Halo, Mass Effect was epic.

I was watching a game on twitch.tv last night and Adam was sitting next to the person playing the game and commenting. He was such a moronic douche bag I felt awkward watching him! He was trying to help his friend find a key, every time his buddy mentioned something about the game Adam would say "oh yeah, try going there for the key" after his buddy already mentioned it but he did it in his loud crybaby voice that irritated me to the bone. It was beyond horrible and he would scream ...
"Play the games, not the resolution", LOL! Is that why they used PS4 game footage for Watchdogs and not their own? Seems they want to show better resolution but won't back it up with their own statements. MS is a nothing but FAIL this gen.
Wow, just absolutely stunning graphics. We are in for a treat this gen from devs such as SSM, Sucker Punch and NaughtyDog. Not only the looks but we know the gameplay will be solid too so it's not just something pretty to look at, but also great to play. It's good to have a PS4 IMO. Sony and it's teams are gonna treat us with some of the best games period this gen.
