People really should appreciate fine engineering when they see it. Think about it, Sony have made a console smaller, lighter, cooler(not 100% on that) and cheaper than their biggest competitors rival machine and yet they are still able to include an inbuilt power supply and make it unbelievably easy to swap hard drives. All this and the thing looks stunning.

@Majin-vegeta Whilst I agree that some contemporary games are indeed too short one must also consider the amount of time that it takes for the developer to create one hour of gameplay in Legend of Dragoon compared to say one hour of gameplay in Uncharted.
Internet was a fraction of what it is today. Plus from a personal perspective 9 years ago I was 9 years old and as far as I recall did not know what a 'dev kit' was. I was too busy playing everything or nothing on my PS2 #4theplayers
The question should be 'For how long will it be big enough?'. The answer for me is not long. I base this argument on my experience of PlayStation plus which is a fantastic service, but will fill 500GB in no time. Especially if you pair it with buying digital games.
Day before my birthday! Nice timing :). A lot of games have been released around this date lately. Crysis 3 was released 21st in Europe and 22nd in the UK so hopefully infamous SS will also come out on the 22nd in the UK for a nice birthday present.
I don't think that games will be able to run off of external drives but I cannot confirm that. You can still put movies and music on them though. My Username is quite fitting yes =D
No it can't I'm not sure where the author's got his information from but the biggest hard drive available at the moment for a 2.5" 12mm drive is 1.5tb at around £80 or $100. there are larger 2.5" drives at 15mm which won't fit let alone a 3.5" drive which come in around 18mm.

Why not just use an SSHD? i'm sure you can pick omne up for around the same price as a 1TB 7200 rpm
I have a 1TB on my PS3. Thanks to Playstation plus that is already nearly full and most off my games were bought on disk whereas next gen I'm buying all my games digitally.
That's a 3.5" drive. I don't think the PS4 will support these drives just like the PS3 didn't.
I don't understand why Titanfall is being hyped so much? What is so special? It doesn't even have a single player mode! If this is successful what will motivate publishers to back single player games? You would be naive to think that publishers won't follow suite if the money's there. I'm not guaranteeing this but it's not out of the question.
