It will actually reduce their cheques for sure. Games try to position themselves for a release window where they think that they will do the best fiscally. This may have to do with few competitors or marketing or something else.
If this is off and limited then there will be less demand and thus they will sell fewer games and thus make less money. Its foolish to say that a company that literally requries PSN to be up to make money wouldnt be losing money when its down. ...

guys, they shouldnt reimburse people for psn being down, they should reimburse people for withholding a fundamental part a game that they paid full price for. There is a difference.
I cant believe that people are ok with this in all honesty. I know its not the end of the world but still, it would be nice to have what we actually paid for. The cost of psn is cover in games and in things like PS+ and the system itself. There is no such thing as a free lunch.
