well 2012 is coming so really we all might as well do that :)
From the article
"Steam has imposed a set of business terms for developers hoping to sell content on that service – many of which are not imposed by other online game services. Unfortunately, Crytek has an agreement with another download service which violates the new rules from Steam and resulted in its expulsion of Crysis 2 from Steam."
So the fault is that of Steam? I wonder what the actual issue was?
Will it really even need it? You wont game over the 3G and the stuff that is on 24/7 isnt data intensive. Most people will get games off wifi as its easier and faster as well.
harcor styz lol!
Oh J you are so awesome!
yeah... i dont think so as it only sees about 1 million a month from advertising on the android devices and Rovio says that ios and android are nearly the same revenue wise...
Meanwhile GTA, COD, HALO, and other huge games are all approaching 500 million to a Billion dollars...
Fair enough, all of this evidence is anecdotal though for both of us. I want to know what the actual sales were.
there is no ethernet port there.
But he wants to work on the PSV so that doesnt make any sense at all
what does that have to do with this story at all? Like at all?
No ethernet port? Seriously? I thought they said they were getting serious about online gaming...
Edit:
People are disagreeing why? It really doesnt have a ethernet port people and Nintendo really wanted to get online this time. At least say why you disagree...
Most of these are not sales though, they are free downloads. Id like to know how many of these downlaods actually converted into a sale cause i dont know anyone thats actually ever bought the game.
Well considering that the next gen xbox will likely be a year earlier to market yet again i think that this is wrong. The PS3 was more expensive and later to the market cause of the bluray drive and the cell. This wont be an issue next time as the costs on those have come way way down.
I have 3 versions of it on my ipad, all were free. I sure wouldnt pay for the game either...
Sweet! Ive always complained that crappy games were too short, now i can slog through a crappy game thats long! Gee we sure are lucky to be graced with this one!
These are the same people who make in browser games... im not really expecting much.
no its not, closer to what borderlands was
DLC thats not just a pallette swap? wow i was thinking we would get royally screwed every time.
Why is it a lie? I dont see how them saying it wont play DVDs and then someone forcing it to do it is a lie at all. It would be a lie if they said it did play them but it didnt...
I was looking at the back of teh wiiu and i didnt even see and ethernet port. I know its not even close to finalized but i would think something liek that would be a no brainer now days with all of the talk about how online is so important.
What you want will make very little difference in 15 years. The publishers and Developers will all push for digital media to increase their strangle hold on your wallet.
