MS did not ship 2x more than what they sold, thats just silly to claim. The number could be higher but there is no way in hell its over 2x that amount. They would have stores literally full of them and thats not happening.

Im so pumped for this, was the online part and the city parts in the japanese release? Im pretty sure the online stuff was but i have no idea about the city stuff.
My guess is the city stuff will kinda start out neat and then once everyone has essentially the same stuff it will all drop off unless they can find a way to force a balanced economy.

There was 10 more gigs of room to put game "elements" on the disc that will not be making it and square said they left tonnes of stuff out of the game on the cutting floor.

32.6+6.8 /= 50 gigs, thats a difference of over 10 gigs, which is almost 2 more full discs of 360 content. So the blu ray isnt even close to full. The 360 on the other hand has like 6 discs already (hyperbole but you get the point)...

The sales of the wii are going to really really slow the next generation from coming, why bother creating new hardware when hardware with crap specs is selling bizarrely well? 2013 or later its starting to look like more and more.

Are the DS and Wii numbers the most ever recorded in a month? Those numbers are literally mind boggling. Im just shocked the sold so many. Now if only the wii could put out some awesome games. They only had a few good ones last year (muramasa, boy and his blob, etc) and it would be great to see them put out some more good games that appeal to me so i can get a wii. Endless ocean 2 would make me buy a wii, loved those games for some reason.
From everything i read in that article it makes me think that ODST should have stayed a expansion to Halo 3, same thing with firefight, than been a standalone game.
