Dude 2017 was a landmark year for PS4 exclusives and gaming in general but it looks like 2018 is gonna rival or may even top it.
This year is gonna be phenomenal for PS4 and the PlayStation Nation.
Detroit is another GOTY contender.
I just platinumed Shadow of the Colossus so I am ready for Detroit, God of War, Spiderman, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Dreams
The androids' story is so human you can easily see the parallelisms.
I like layered stories like this.
I am excited to see Connor's story.

Kutaragi said it before lauch of PS3 that he designed PS3 for quality not just quantity.
Everyone just have to work a little more to get better quality and it paid off.
Just played Uncharted 2 last night on PS3 and it looked better than many PS4 games today.

You are very wrong. The fact that PSone used CD is pro developer; the fact that PS2 made way for DVD instead of Sony's own format was pro developer and PS3s Blu-ray disc is pro developer.

First and foremost the PS4 was designed by what 3rd party developers wanted not just what Sony wanted.
That is the PlayStation Creed since PSOne - Third Party Partners Comes First and then Sony puts in something of its own unique features.
PlayStation ain't ripping anything off Nintendo anytime as Ninty is the exact opposite.
i.e.
PS4 does a PS4 Pro while Nintendo does Labo!
Technically the Sega Nomad/Mega Drive/Genesis is the earlier video game console that is also portable not the Switch.
The original PSOne slim came with its own add on LCD monitor.
So a PS4 or PS5 with its own optional monitor could well be on its wày. Just like x86 gaming laptop PCs.

PS4 has been a catapult for non-Nintendo Japanese games to sell millions of copies with great high quality.
Nioh , NieR Automata, Persona 5, Tales of Berseria, Gravity Rush 2, Drahon's Quest Heroes 2, Yakuza 0, etc.
Now the balance of Western and Japanese games has been restored.

But there are games who's story is also up to the player's interpretation like Ico and Shadow of the Colossus - the show don't tell types where the story unfolds in the very gameplay itself.
I like them more than hours upon hours of elaborate cutscenes.
SotC may be a short game but its jam packed of timeless game design and genius.
It will be a Super Slim PS4 with its own 12" 1080p screen like notebook.
With the success of Monhan World on PS4 O don't think Monhan will ever go timed exclusive to Nintendo anymore...unless Capcom is bought entirely by Nintendo itself.
