Mobile gaming has 50% of the gaming market today that used to belong to DS and PSP. So tell me how is that "not shrinking"?
Japan is small compared to the whole gaming market that is now dominated by mobile gaming not Nintendo.
Nintendo Switch 8s between a rock (PS4 on the home console end) and a hard place (mobile gaming). They are definitely out of the home console race because they refuse to grow their software and hardware. On the kiddie handheld scene their market share have been taken by mobile gaming significantly. Mobile accounts for 35% of gaming.
The way hardware manufacturers invest on physical controller attachments will only chip away Nintendo's already shrinking market share.

PS4 gamers have boatloads of games but the supply can not meat demands, boi!
