Not until I play TLOU Part 2 ....
Correct!
Nintendo fans have selective amnesia lol!
@Ashlen
We know Nintendo games do not need high end graphics to sell to you Nintendo fans, the parents and their kids they are aimed at.
But remember the SNES, N64, Gamecube where known for their graphics power as their selling point. Mario, Donkey Kong , Zelda, Starfox, etc all had cutting edge graphics as their selling point during those times.
This 👍
Graphics is the gamers first impression of any video game.
It is what attracts any gamer.
How can you sell a game without anyone seeing it?
Even game play is shown by using graphics.
Graphics and gameplay are both eaqually important to sell a video game.
Nintendo fans who say graphics don't matter out of brand loyalty are the most backward thinkers in gaming.
Choose a not so crowded region
They are living a delusional dream. 3rd party japanese games have found phenomenal success on PS4 (& PC) no matter how niche they are. If PS3 made blu-ray popular PS4 catapulted japanese games to stardom.
You will see 2B cosplayers in every comic convention after the release of NieR Automata.
When these niche games on PlayStation sell around 2 million copies, rivalling AAA game sales, you can be sure even more bigger games are bound to come.
Loving this game so much!
Same ole recycled games
I wanna play and appreciate the best experience not the inferior one.
Fromsoftware put their best on this game so it should be played the way it was meant to be played not a watered down version.
But UDF storytelling is very good
The immense success of niche games like Bloodborne, Dark Souls, NieR Automat, Nioh and Persona 5 proved your point and westerners responded positively kindly.
They stayed true to their roots and to themselves.
Kaz Hirai was right in focusing on what western gamers love about Japanese games.
The interesting thing is even niche japanese games are selling very well and much better in the west than in Japan itself.
2017 is proof that japanese developers have greener pastures in the west than in Japan.
Who would have thought that niche games like Nioh, NieR A, Persona 5, Dragon Quest Builders, would sell around the 2 million mark?
Arigato PS4.
These games has zero chance of that success on Nintendo or Xbox platforms given the way they do business w...
Is it true LSA is made by one man?
Amd the surprising thing this generation is that Japanese games are very much appreciated in the west than in Japan itself. Just look at the niche Japanese games line up there the PS4 is the reason why they find crazy success the west just like in PS1 and PS2 days.
Greatness Arrived!
Mama mia!
The PS4's is the undisputed king of 3rd party exclusive and multiplatform games.
So much diversity of quality in large quantities.
Keep pushing the boundaries of innovation and storytelling.
Dreams come true this year please.
The question is can Sony produce another 20 million PS4 units to keep up with gamers demand this year?
Can it keep up with the Marvel Cinematic Universe fanbase coming in full force this Q1 2018 for Spid...
After selling 5.9 million Sony can not put enough PS4 on the shelves in December. They need to restock.
Ha!
See I told you guys. Nintendo's new PR consultant is Aaron Greenberg!
No one does that straw grasping "fastest selling" tirade for Nintendo like Greenberg.
Ecerytime he opens his mouth he either opens a can of worms or incur the anger of many gamers.
LOL!
Now MS and Nintendo 9s really teaming against the PS4.
Bring it baby!
100 million is within reach!
Hyaku PS4!
Nioh, HZD, NieR: Automata or Persona 5 you can't go wrong with any of these games. They are all critical and commercial master pieces. Worth every second and worth every penny.
Is that a real question?
Do you need to have high end realistic graphics to sell Nintendo's kiddie games to kids and their moms or loyal Nintendo customers?
Why don't you tell Rockstar to sell GTA VI or Activision to sell COD with Super Mario Odyssey or Breath of the Wild graphics?
Use your common sense.
Graphics fidelity is dependent on the kind of game that needs it.
