I have to laugh at your comments, I have a Samsung 40inch 1080i hdtv in my room, my parents have the latest Samsung 1080p 52inch hdtv downstairs, i done a comparison with the 360 and PS3 - the PS3 with hdmi 1.3 and the hdtv downstairs has hdmi 1.3 and guess what? minimal difference its not a difference like going from 480 to 720 now thats a difference you can notice easily.
I did then installed the Crysis demo and well it had to set all on LOW :-( the visuals were extremely bad! Hell I could run FarCry on much better settings and visuals than Crysis!!
I know you are reffering to HALO 3, thats nothing to do with the console, infact the Xbox 360 has better upscaling than the PS3 that is a fact because the 360 has an actual upscaling chip, the PS3 does not.
The other thing is if the game can still look amazing but has to sacrifice something no one else can see then why not?

I think I might wait until I see how much this content is going to cost in points before I buy this game. Time to make a stand me thinks.
My PS3 is collecting dust as it has no decent exclusives and if you seriously think that Ratchet and Clank is worth the high scores its been getting then yeah right. I played the demo and its complete rubbish - Gamespot gave it a 7.5/10 because they were the only ones not to have been BRIBED by Sony.

The PS3 is an absolute bargain as it is and the main reason it is selling well is because many who are looking to get a hdtv see the PS3 as the best option to go into getting a hd player i.e. an all in one.
But for gamers well we will see what happens as at the end of the day you cant always predict what people will buy we just have to sit back and wait for the figures.

I downloaded the demo and it looks exactly the same as GTHD and it plays the same as well.
Most likely during manufacture the plastic was not moulded correctly.
There is no chance the 360 gets that hot, I have never known a 360 to let out super hot air that will cause it to melt the back.
I think this is a first but they look pretty good, the thing is they both seem to be using different graphical techniques.
To be honest I cant really choose they both look pretty damn good.
A remake at that and its coming out next year now?? FFS!
Because my Xbox 360 premium let out cool air and so does my new Elite, however the PS3 - OMG! Nearly burnt my fingers!

My new Sony system does DTS, Dolby Digital, PCM and has 1000watt total power output, I am sure I aint gonna have any problems enjoying this movie!
Look at the Japanese support for RPG's last gen it was terrible but this gen its gonna be ace!
Not to mention even though its not an RPG Ninja Gaiden 2 and from a developer that loves the 360 platform!
