That's a pretty bad review, well i've ordered mine from ebay brand new sealed including postage for £27.
Forget BF3 and MW3 and eve Gears 3 its all about Halo 1, those that played Halo 1 back in the day know that it was and still is the BEST Halo in the series. Everything about Halo 1 was perfect all it needed was online co-op.
So now its coming and I am hoping millions of Halo fans boycott all the other games for this, it is truely going to be EPIC!
That so far this gen there has been a serious lack of Japanese games.
The ones that have come out especially on the 360 some have been rather poor especially ones made by Tri-Ace.
Only decent JRPG this gen on the 360 has had to be Enchant-Arm (well kinda decent) and Lost Odyssey and maybe blue dragon as well.
Last gen there were a ton of Japanese games on the PS2 so whats happened this gen? Japanese run out of ideas?

Xbox 360 = FULL install, short loading times
PS3 = Mandatory install, LONG loading times
Think I will take the superior 360 version, you know the one with Xbox Live that has easy party chat, cross game chat, press the guide button and do pretty much anything you know the better system ;-)

Nintendo is no threat to Microsoft, in fact Microsoft this gen has had a very good steady 2nd place run, that could not be said last gen.

If you think about it if it wasn't for ANON we wouldn't have had those free games and PSN plus for 30 days, Sony's security would never had been upgraded and a game from one of the developers who stated that the PSN being down allowed them to add addition feature/s.
I agree that cyber attacks such as this is always wrong but in this case ANON is the loser and the gamer is the winner.

Get this game when its in the bargain bin, the visuals look dated and with rubbish that is in this game via language and such its just not neccessary.

Are you people STILL harping on about the number of discs?? I dont care if it was 4 discs as long as the game played great! Also with the additional 1gb of space now available that counts for something.
With the PS3 you have either mandotory installs or none and also long loading times. Games on the 360 can be FULLY installed by choice and loading times reduced.
The ONLY thing easy on the PS3 is 1 disc but I rather have multiple discs rather than mandatory in...
Am very glad to hear that they are doing a remake of the MGS games as I remember only the second one came to the original Xbox.
However have noticed that this gen there have been a few remakes lol but luckily remakes of great games.
I have just checked the net and Demon Souls was only 5.8gb! In fact majority of PS3 titles do not even hit anywhere near the 25gb or even 50gb of a blu-ray disc. As said countless times before its all padding.
Xbox 360 discs now offer an additional 1gb of space so if Demon Souls was only 5.8gb in size then Dark Souls should have no problems fitting nicely on 1 dvd with minimal compression.
since when have journalists been developers? There is no confirmation by the developers that they have changed the audio. The only thing the developers have said is about the 2 engines running side by side.
This game has poor visuals in many areas and you reckon it looks great, seems like finally some gamers have truely gone mad.
I have this on the PC and I still cannot fathom why soo many people are enjoying this game.
In all the years I have been playing games in particular RPG's this is the first time where I have come across a game that is soo pathetic to not even offer a tutorial of sorts let alone quick acess to potions.

Amazon always runs deals for the USA wish they would do this for the UK as well. I was interested in getting Mass Effect 3 collectors edition but its a whopping £69.99 which is around $114!!! :-(
