Was able to still amaze with visually awesome games such as Fable 1 and Ninja Gaiden 1 along with a few others. I remember when first playing Fable 1 I was in awe of how awesome the visuals looked I have still yet to experience that this gen so yeah still got a while to go I reckon...

a review from someone who doesn't even like the series what a bloody joke!! I love the series so i reckon a PROPER review would be around 8.5/10 i reckon. I am getting this game.
One thing I have always disliked is the way the store on the PSN is set out, in comparison to the Xbox Live marketplace it is very annoying to find stuff and see things that you want. I own both consoles and overall the content offered on the 360 is far better, sure Sony is releasing a ton of content there but all of that is not appealing at all and you the PSN still does not have beyond good and evil yet?? I got that game ages ago on the 360 and beat it already months back.
AGREED!!! Finally someone that sees sense! PGR2 was the best racing game I ever played also online it was perfect, perfect lobbies perfect everything! It is a shame that PGR3 was sloppy and 4 was even worse.
But since nothing was shown at E3 about another PGR I guess that is another franchise killed off by Microsoft.

The 360 in Xbox 360 was used as it was Microsoft who said that it means to unite all gamers around the world hence the 360. Now you have people of fail that are saying 720 constantly just by doubling the number!

one on the original Xbox was the best, graphics were awesome, gameplay was awesome.
What I have noticed this gen is with the original Xbox there were games that were amazing visually despite the age the Xbox was like Ninja Gaiden 1 and Fable 1.
The only game I can think of that was amazing to look at visually was Oblivion yet sequels of games from last gen simply do not have the leap in visuals that they should.

I have always played Diablo games on the PC even though I know the 1st one did come out on the PS1 I never tried it.
The first one worked on the PS1 I am guessing due to the fact that you just used the mouse on the PC 99% of the time and didn't need to press buttons on the keyboard, so am wondering how this will fair on the consoles if it does happen.

512mb is just not cutting it anymore considering you have to split it between cpu and gpu its not enough. Also I saw console version of BF3 the other day and it looked rather well poor...I guess it's not suprising indeed PC version will always look better especially if you have £400+ to throw at a graphics card only to be replaced by a better one a month or so later...
I mean at the end of Halo 3 MasterChief goes into the chamber and is locked in hybernating, the only other entity onboard the vessel is Cortana...So how on earth does his armour all of a sudden 'change' whilst asleep? Did Cortana wake up some nano droids in his chamber or what?? Even in Halo it made no sense, at the end of Halo 2 MasterChief shoots ontop of a vessel and says 'Finishing the fight' but in 3 he shoots down from outterspace onto Earth and BAM new armour!
