The fans dont want to wait another 3 years for the game to finish. And if they did that and sold it for 50$ that would be an insane value, and would be stupid from a buisness perspective.

Actually what bothers me is the xbox live subscription fee... Thats where MS is actually making money. People willingly pay 50$ (more in europe) to MS every year which goes straight to their pocket... And what do they use it for? Buy DLC exclusivity which they would probably get anyway but they pay so that it wont come to ps3. So when you pay your live subscription you basically pay for that certain things will not apear on ps3... what a waste. The only usefull thing for the consumer that MS ...
Yo Hiphopgamer. I like your show although i disagree with you that 360 is going to win this generation. Simply because the next time ps3 cut the price its going to sell better across the board again. Keep in mind that ps3 has outsold 360 in 2007 and so far in 2008. Now the 360 cut price and will probably sell better for a while, but when ps3 is cutting price im pretty sure it will go back to ps3 selling better.

Sony is great at taking care of their developers and giving them freedom. Sony buying studios can actually be very good for the industry. Take team-ico for instance. If sony didnt own them, who knows they might not exist now because their games havent sold that well. But sony is funding them which is great.

blu ray has over 5 times the storage of a dvd... It will always have that. Yes you can compress something heavily on a dvd and have close to the amount of data as you would have uncompressed on a blu ray... but you can compress data on blu ray aswell smartass... Over 5 times as much. But if you compress alot you are gonna have to install. And if a game requires install then it wont work on xbox arcade.

Dude, team ico's game came out late 2005. which means if they follow the 4 year cycle it will come out late 2009. And we already now several games that will come out late 2009 so its not to early to hear about team ico. And just to spesify, the 4 year cycle is not 4 year after they have started development on the game, it is 4 years after they released their previous game. so late 2009 is to be expected.

Tbh i dont think Eight Days got cancelled because of Eyepet. Eyepet may have benefited from it but i believe people were mainly relocated to work at Home. Because sony has alot of pressure on them to release it on time. If it gets delayed beyond 2008 then they would lose alot of credibility. When Home is finished they might just start working on eight days again, if we are lucky :)

Anyway i hope for this games sake that it doesnt come out in a couple of years. Still to few people that have a good enough computer to run this game at a reasonable setting.
If a game used 100% of the ps3 capability that would not be 55% more then KZ2 with its 45%... Thats well over 100% more power. So theoreticly the game could look twice as good as KZ2. But ofcourse all this power will not be used only on graphics. Better physics and all of that will probably use some of that power, but the games will definately look better aswell.
But they will never reach a 100%. Yet if they manage to push it 80-90% then thats alot and i mean alot more power th...
Riiight.... Its milking if each game is a bad value for the money. 26-30 missions is more then they did in the first starcraft game. So they do more then the original starcraft with each game, is that really such a terrible value that it has to cost 30$?
