Well said killer. People are so easily affected by recent happenings that they fail to see the big picture. And the big picture tells us that PS3 has sold more then 360 while its been out. Since PS3 launched a year later its not fair to say they are behind. If you persume that the ps3 has the amount of consoles now that they will have in a year from now then the ps3 is ahead. So yea its not a fair comparison, if you do a fair comparison then PS3 is ontop of 360.

Funny how all big 360 surprises is games becoming multiplatform. I really hope for 360 owners sake that they have something more to look forward to then games going multiplat in 09. Its different from game to game how much the difference on RGB limited/full is. On Assassins Creed though the difference between those 2 options were big, and this game is running on a modified AC engine, so yeah limited RGB seems to be the case
This looks exactly like what happened with the Assassins Creed comparisons. The PS3 version looked Washed out because full RGB was not turned on. If MS release a new console withing the next 2-3 years i think sony should just sit back and relax and keep going with the ps3. I mean just look at effin killzone2, the ps3 games will probably look atleast as good as the first games that comes out on the next xbox whenever that happens. With PS3 being at a much lower price point, with a way higher amount of games, and a way higher install base meaning a way higher third party support, then the new xbox is going to fail miserably.

No its using the Crystal tools and its basically a pc engine. Which actually doesnt sound very good for the ps3 version. If the game ends up looking the same on PS3 and 360 its pretty obvious square has been lying when saying the game wont be dumbed down because of the 360 version. But anything else then them lying would actually surprise me alot.
you will never reach the full theoretical power, but you can still get very close. And even after you are done using the so called percentages of the consoles power you can still optimize the code to make the game even better while its still using the same amount of power.
so while there is theoretically 40% power left, you can get even more out of it when you optimize the code, even if you cant use the full remaining 40%.

Halo got good reviews just for being Halo. Killzone wont get good reviews just for being killzone. Why? Because killzone doesnt have nearly the same fanbase as halo. If KZ2 gets good reviews it will be solely because the game is great. Its more likely to get underrated then anything, because its the game that people love to pick on.

Yea, i also think that the ps3 can last quite a few years longer then the PS2 did. If you look at what games are already being pulled off on the System like KZ2 and knowing that is just the tip of the iceberg. I mean the graphics on the PS3 is getting really close to CG, and i think that when MS come with their next console they are going to struggle to make their games feel next gen compared to the PS3.
