no it shows that the PS3 is so awesome that even the people with little money who logically would have bought an xbox, instead goes for the quality PS3 because they are smart enough to realize that its the best value.

Im telling you man, 360 is nowhere near as big in the rest of the world as it is in the US. The dominating gaming media however is in the US. Thats why we always gets these articles about how bad PS3 are doing and how 360 is kicking ass. Infact the US is the only region where 360 is ahead of the PS3. If sony can close the gap in the US then they have won the war.
Well they say they are aiming for it. Which is great, that probably means that they will improve alot upon the game until its finally released. Besides the power is definately not only going to be used for graphics. Its going to be bigger enviroments, better physics, and on top of that better graphics. Uhm well, yes and no. Home is going to be updated alot, so its going to be cool to come back and check new features. Besides i dont think im going to play Home as if its a game. Im not going to spend hours upon hours in there each day, so i dont really think im going to get tired of it that quickly.

Yea 2009 sounds like atleast a year to early. Before we know it Gears of war is the new need4speed. It will sell like hotcakes though, but lets hope epic is not trying to take advantage of that and will make a significant upgrade instead.

I have more faith in Alan Wake then in Quantom Theory. Those who are making Alan Wake are the same guys that made Max Payne, so they are a solid developer. Definately getting Alan Wake for PC if it is as good as it looks to be.

I think they are talking about Sales, not how many good games that is on the console. Basically 360 exclusives are selling better then PS3 exclusives, shouldnt come as a big surprise though, concidering the market share.
They might have large enough disks, but the real problem would be internet connection. There is no way most people will have good enough connection to warrant a 200gb download, let alone a 50gb download. The so called age of digital download will only happen if internet speed increases alot faster then game size. Not gonna happen next generation. Maybe when ps5 comes out.
360 always gets alot of crap exclusives from devs that dont afford or just arent able to make games on the PS3 aswell. Thats why 360 has a hell of alot more vaporware then PS3. Basically what im trying to say here is that numbers dont count for nothing, its the games that count. So far not many BIG titles has been announced for 360 for next year. PS3 has many big titles on the way. We'll just see how it all pans out, but its looking good for PS3 owners.
Wether or not the games sell is only relevant in the way that it warrants sequels or that developers see that a certain genre/gametype is doing good.
As long as it sells enough, it doesnt really bother me as long as the games are good. And thats what sony is delivering, good games.

Which is a good thing. Releasing a game before its finished is nothing but a waste of time and money. Its better with a few excellent games then a ton of decent games.

On MS side you will probably see Forza3, atleast 1 Rare game, hopefully Alan Wake from Remedy, and already announced games like Halo Wars and Halo 3 expansion. They probably have something else up their sleeves aswell. But Shane Kim was talking about less hardcore games coming in 09 though, so that might not be a good sign.

There will be a PSP2. But i dont think its going to happen that soon. Id say perhaps in 3 years we will see a psp2. Dont think it will happen any earlier then that, maybe later.
