Same here I dont see Sony going for a powerful console either. It's the first time they have the most powerful console on the market and though it comes with a lot of advantages it comes with all the drawbacks too (price, profitability, market penetration etc).
A balance between power and accesibilty for consumers and devs seems to be the way to go as in the case of the PS1, PS2 and the 360 to a certain extent.
Yep, I see a reveal in 2012/2013 with the first launch being the Wii 2 in late 2012. I dont see a new xbox or playstation before 2013.
As for me I'm more than content with the current consoles. I got both 360 and PS3 and dont need nor want neww consoles any time soon. Both consoles are still pumping out great games and graphics keep on moving forward.

If they dont show Versus I was seriously have doubts on the existence of the game or expect a announcement to say it has been canned.
I'm only 21 years old but I have never seen this kind of situation where after FIVE years they have showed almost NOTHING. Even Alan Wake showed more in five years than Versus.

Playstation isnt "aimed" at Europe or the rest of the world. Its just that Sony isnt as succesful in the US like they were with the PS and PS2.
The PS2 wasnt more "americanized" than the PS3. On the contrary I would even say, jrpg's for instance have disappeared in the favor of the likes of the Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Dragons Age etc.

95% of PS3 games coming out in 2011 are multiplat. And this year there were more quality multiplats on the PS3 than exclusives.
I wish there were no more multiplats on the PS3, you guys would run out...

There's always somebody to fill in the gap. If MS werent there it would have been Apple for instance and if Sony werent there SEGA would have taken their role.
Deux Ex, The Darkness(if anyone still remebers that game..), Condemned, Half Life, Bioshock for instance.
You know a FPS with a little twist to it. I'm not interested in the likes of COD, Battlefield, Killzone etc. Halo is a bit more original because of the style but sill not enough for me to buy it. To me those games are just bland.
Im more interested in Resistance 3 for instance than KZ3 from what I've seen so far.

Some aspects of Ninja Gaiden 2 were already dated when the game came out.
A year later with some minor tweaks gives a very outdated game with some minor tweaks.
So no NGS2 a year or more after NG2 doesnt make it ten times better nor did it deserve better scores.
