Killzone is a shooter.
GOW is not a platformer.
Asking this question on N4G makes no sense.
I expect both this and Geow Judgement to score 8-ish.

I agree with them. The PS4 may have some very impressive specs but none of the games shown had the wow effect. You would have told me they were very advanced end cycle PS3 games I would have believed you.
The next gen wow effect is the effect the first Geow demo had on the gameing world for instance.
At that very moment you felt next gen dropping like a bomb, you knew games wouldnt be the same.
Nothing they showed at the PS4 reveal gave that impression. ...
To be honest it looked good but ... doesnt seem next gen impressive like. Maybe its just te quality of the vid but I wasnt blown away like KZ2 reveal blew me away. Or maybe its the fact that it just looked like another great graphics shooter.
I know its the 1st PS4 games but for the moment It's a bit underwhelming.

I see your point but don't completely agree with you. It would have been ok if they didnt make Judgement and waited for next gen for the next Geow. Three Geow and three UC is more than enough for this gen ... another UC game on PS3 and it would been one UC game too many just like Geow Judgement.
As for GOW, I'll say I'll give it a pass since it's only the second one this gen but yes the formula has been tried and tested already.
The best multiplayer fun I had this gen.

It definately won't be a Gears spin-off ... espeicially after they see Judgement's sales.
It's a bit off topic but Gears Judgement is one of the most unnecessary entries in a good series I've seen in a long time. Everythig was perfect with it ending with Gears 3. It would have been great to not see anymore Gears until next gen ... you know keep us hungry for more.

Well I for one went from being so uninterested in the WiiU that I didn't even know/notice when it launched to being 80% sure of getting one just for the new Monolith Soft game alone. Add to that the rest of what they announced and now the Wii U seems like a legit purchase to me.

The Xbox's lifetime sales didnt pass 25 million when with the 360 by the end of this year they will be at at least 80 million. With Xbox out of the picture Sony would be back to the status they had the two last gens.
Same here, played the Orange Box back in the day and didnt see what the heck all the hype was about.
