The blame goes to the top management completely out of touch with what the market needs. The Wii U is a console in the wrong time frame with no market hence nobody actually going out there to buy one.

Sony's vision for the PS4 is a turbo charged PS3. MS's vision for the Xbox One was a digital console always connected to the internet for reasons inherent to a console pushing digital to 100%.
Now the Xbox One is is pretty much just like the PS4, a turbo charged version of its predecessor. Thanks to Kinect though they can differentiate themselves.

I actually hope they never drop Kinect for the Xbone. It is the main thing that sets it apart from the PS4. Take that away and its just a supercharged 360 like the PS4 is just a supercharged PS3. It brings absoluteley nothing whatsoever to what we have already experienced with consoles.

Haters are going to say "too little too late" because they WISH it was already too late. The fact that pre-orders have sky rocketed since the DRM drop and that we are definately getting a better picture of the what the The Xbox One is about lately means that they are more than in the right direction and the public realises that.

A lot of peoples PS4 exclusive list is going to be a whole lot shorter now since all those f2p and indie games will be going multiplat.
Probably for security reasons. The Xbox needed to be connected to the web at least once every 24 hours. It would have been easy tu secure things to avoid piracy and hacking for instance.
No that the console doesnt need a 24h check in anymore I guess they are re-wrting the code and the security parametres.

If a game is on Xbox One and PC, Xbox One and 3DS, Xbox One and the Gamecube well then it's exclusive to rhe Xbox One when talking about exclusives since we always talk MS/Sony as to Xbox and PS4 when we're talking about exclusives.
