You do realise that Forza's core game-play elements are ripped exactly from the original Gran Turismo? You know, win races, complete events, get awarded cars? Just lately they announced Top Gear for Forza while GT5 had it announced ages ago.

1- You don't even make sense, you say everybody loses money with piracy but it's good for MS that they managed to sell more? How on earth can it be good for MS when their console has been subjected to piracy for years but PS3 was jail-broken and has yet to even incur any damages? And this is good for MS?
2- Even if you have a 20mb connection, do you know how much of a small minority you are? There are MILLIONS of people around the world still on dial-up and poor broad...

Sony enjoyed 4 years of no piracy and still continuing to this day while Microsoft has been losing money from piracy. And there's still the factor of downloading huge blu-ray games while MS games can be upto 5gb. Interest in pirating PS3 games are going to be way down since this gen only has a couple of years left at best. Developers can easily shove cut-scenes which require huge space in the blu-ray disk making it a chore to download...
There's a pretty easy solution to stop piracy. Just whitelist signed apps and bloat all PS3 games (exclusive or not) upto 50gb. No pirate is going to be bothered enough to download 50 gb.
You can also change some of the hardware can't you? They did it with the PSP-3000.

I'm hoping they're making something along the lines of Elder Scrolls games. Since elder scroll can be played from the first person perspective there's still chance for this to happen.
PS3 needs an exclusive open world game, especially with Blu-Ray at their disposal.
Steam is great and this is coming from regular console gamer. Kinda pathetic though that MS is now getting interested in PC after seeing the success of Steam.

Lol, Turn 10 are going with the American Top Gear? What a fail in the making. PD were smart in getting the british version since its more universally known and far more popular and they knew it'll spur on more GT5 sales.

Imagine if Epic announces Gears Of War 3 for the PS3? I think there's a fair chance considering since Epic owns the IP. Plus nowadays it seems MS can't hang on to their 'exclusives' and their developers to save their lives.

I think it'll sell quite alot more actually. Probably 5 million for U3, thanks to the larger install base of Europe. Hell even Japan loves some Uncharted.
