Well. That looks like some concrete evidence if I ever saw it.
A great classic game and still very playable today.
I'm sceptical. I think it will need some imaginative games. But it could open the doors to a new genre of games but I don't think it will break Sony.
@ Septic
So it was you that shot me in the back of the head! I'm returning the favour at our next session.
Blasphemy, I know, but I think I am more likely to buy an Xbox One, just would prefer a different game with it - (Fable, maybe?) as I'll be getting Titanfall for the 360. No real point to get two copies....
...especially if theres a chance I won't really notice a difference.
Having played Titanfall, I do believe the controls feel very familiar. Very COD, but I actually like that. I've enjoyed playing it so far. I think it's good that at least based on the beta we've gone back to what look like very simple load outs. At the same time, I'm not sure if I buy into the burn cards. Difference is you're not forced to use them if you dont want to like COD perks.
I think a single player ONLY game has the potential to offer a richer experience when compared to a multiplayer experience. There are simply certain barriers to be offering the exact same experience across both parallels. I think this is part of what you're paying for (aside from preference for a certain franchise or concept) when buying a single player ONLY/domninated game. What you're paying for (caveats above withstanding) with a multiplayer game IS the replayability.
I just hope the finished product will ultimately look 'good' and that we aren't swayed too much by the hype.
Interesting - never played that one. Although I think it's fair to say FF7 does have steam-punk aspects to it. Nonetheless - I stand corrected - FF6 definately looks very steam-punky and predates 7!
So....
ahhh Steampunk! Attracting gamers since FF6!
ahhh Steampunk! Attracting gamers since FF7!
An interesting read - in terms of pricing in the Lebanon - and I thought GB was expensive! I say this as sensitively as I can, but you may just want to sense check your article a bit more - grammar aside (which is fine in light of the source) - sometimes, the message you're trying to convey gets lost:
"The same old gameplay with slightly tweaked gameplay just does not do it"
Otherwise, look forward to your next article.
I think it's the first game I've got on Gold where I've actually got some enjoyment out of it. Continue to give us more mainstream games like Dead Island, please Microsoft!
Thanks - I'll do that.
Nice to see some of the indie stuff in there. Like the sound of Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture.
If you have the cash - fair play but for most of us we have to choose! Saying that if you've already invested in an Xbox 1 or PS4 then you can only pray the other game comes out on PC. :)
I was initially leaning towards the order but based on the videos, I think I would be more inclined to get Quantum break. I liked the concept of the order but the quality doesn't seem to be there, which if that is the case, is a shame. Visually QB looks so much more crisp. Banking a lot just on a couple of videos, but will make a call closer to the time.
Sold!
We make that exact observation. We're looking forward to it, too.
Just a reminder, everyone - if there is something you'd like us to specifically discuss, look at or investigate do let us know!

"So basically your a follower"
Put aside whether he's troll or not, aren't the majority on contributors on here followers or fanboys to some degree? Whether it's Sony or Xbox?
