means you insist on beating it in 11 hours? :P
And reviewers were complaining this game is short...
This review didn't start off with how KZ2 doesn't do this or that. We ask for fair reviews, and this looks like one.
Congrats to GG and all the good developers out there.
It is funny. Agreed.
@ AV Onion club... The name made me laugh.
He's is making a statement. It'a not question of what "too clean" means, it's a question of how a game he had personally experienced as the grittiest game can be called "too clean".
From what I seen from KZ2's videos and even some cons from reviews, Killzone 2 definitely isn't "too clean". However, the preview does get a few things right.
And I think that the people that disagreed with you does not necesarily disagree with the fact that every game has its flaws, they are just tired of seeing 1 game getting free passes, another similar game being picked on and with it's flaw magnified.
Overall this is a positive preview with useful insight. I like it. Let's just hope that the review is consistent with the preview, and if they take points off for this game, it is at least consistent with how they score other simil...
it makes me want to swim in it! Wait, scratch that, otherwise it may get a point off for not allowing the player to swim... kekeke...
for the quick reply and suggestion. You are the kind of people that remind me why I love playing with new gamers online.
and I didn't even get through the first corridor without being ripped apart. I tried it about 3 times before I gave up. I aimed, then I stomped on them, but they just kept coming. I thought the control was somewhat clunky, especially the stomping animated. But I guess that can be explained with a heavy spacesuit.
May be I just suck...
Sorry was playing some Act 2 earlier. Just can't help it. Say it with me.
SNAKE!!!!!
that comment is quite different than your normal posts. I'm agreeing.
If you enjoyed RE1 more than Capcom's latest offering, please agree.
and no I haven't played RE2. I know you said it kick A$$ but would be say it's as good or better than RE1?
I loved that Japanese version as it didn't cut out anything. I think the US version cut stuff out.
was great, as it was actually scary.
Played some of RE4, nowhere near as scary, and more like a shooter game. The atmosphere just wasn't the same
part of what makes me enjoy RE1 so much is the lack of ammo and "ink" and that you have to play smart through the game.
As strange as it sounds, the bad controls in RE1 is part of what made it worked so well. It makes it more difficult than it needs to be, yet it made it scarier at the same time.
I agree though that controls in this day and age should be improved... But it is hard to strike a balance between making a true/good sequel while re-inventing th...
It's like saying the water is too blue...
need to call out these BS.
thought the preview is not heavily biased like some of the review out, even though it sounded a bit negative in the beginning. It at least acknowledges that it has good pacing, while conceding that most shooters do nothing new (instead of saying Killzone 2 does nothing new, while praising another shooter that it innovates the genre). It also give props to one of Killzone 2 's greatest strength (in my opionion from watching the videos online), the war atmosphere and that you are not an invin...
between the UGO and the TVG reviews on Killzone 2
From UGO

"Killzone 2 is a tale of two cities. There's the campaign, which is a fine but forgettable jaunt through a series of FPS clichés. And then there's the multiplayer, which is a slick, addictive experience that's not to be missed. In the end it just depends on what you're looking for. "
