the damage looks awesome.
like DQII on the SNES or Super Famicom, but that was my first experience with a pseudo open world (after you got the ship). You still have limited options as far as how can you progress, but the sense of freedom and wondering around fighting enemies way out of your league and getting owned is awesome.
it was the opera scene in FF3.
And in Breath of Fire II, when Rand 's mother saved him by pushing him away and getting killed herself.
LOL. That's you alright.
Hey Foxgod, did you spend $60 on that expansion pack yet :)
welcome back.
I agree with the comments above me though. PS3 will likely have the edge as Pirate & Smoke pointed out the lack of price advantage for 360 and the FFXIII bundle in Japan will be major for Sony this Christmas.
I'm sure the grandpa and grandma grow to love the Wii Bowling that much more! It'll be even more fun after this holiday!
it doubles as a bluray/entertainment center. It really has a lot of value, considering the cheapest Blu-ray player is around $99 (and a lower quality one at that).
This holiday will be very interesting in the US, as I believe Sony will rule everywhere else easily at that price point.
Also don't forget Wii and it's $50 price drop. I wonder if everyone who wants a Wii already got one? Or is Wii going to be the hottest console again this Christmas?
I concur. Nice avatar GB.
EDIT
------
Every time I see that boomerang controller I just imagine myself throwing it and it comes right back lol...
Using the same logic, every game should be 480P at best. What's the point of having HD consoles until the majority of TV owners have HDTV? The cable is cheap enough to include so the people who knows what HD is can take advantage of what they bought it for.
When I first bought my PS3 I assume at least a component cable is included. I was wrong and had to order the HDMI cable and wait for it to get here. Poor research on my part yes, but annoying nonetheless.
it is a crime not bundling a HMDI cable for the HD consoles. A 6 ft one cost $3.xx at Monoprice and yet they're still making profit. It can't be that expensive to put one in.
I wonder how many people is using the AV cables on their HDTV.
the bundle was Kung Fu Panda with Lego star wars I believe. There is also going to be a 2 game holiday bundle for the 360 in the US.
too much variety
too many cars
too many tracks
If there ever was too much stuff packed in one game, this is it.
Dang you Blu-ray, too much storage.
a simple thanks would suffice.
Thanks Pirate.
If it's true, that's dedication right there.
are the two games I regret for giving my Wii to my little cousin.
motion control to MGS4 so I can play with Naomi during the cut scenes
Not a multiplatform game: -1
whatever the reason is for scoring these games lower (true opinion, bias for 360, hate against sony, looking for hits, etc...), they should be used to backlash from fanboys by now. I don't see a need for damage control for 1 game out of x games.
March of next year for Japan
those words can be taken out of context.
Like when I first read it, I think the guy is conceding that Forza 3 is light years behind GT5P, so of course nothing will be years within it.
On a more serious note, both games would be good in their own right. If you only own one console, you would pick the corresponding one so no problem there. If you own both then, well buy both or pick the one you want the most!!
However, it's quite arrogant of a statement...
