Believe it or not that is actually my 2nd most anticipated game of '08 after GTAIV.

From the estimated Valkyria numbers we can tell they want to buy games, they just don't have a wide selection to choose from.
So you're in Alderney and your girlfriend is in Dukes, you have to get there in 1 hour. Do you honestly think you can drive there within 1hr?? That isn't even possible in a real trip from NJ to Queens during the day(may be a little more possible at night, even in the game it's possible at night).
Hence the reason for trip skip in taxis and/or using Brucie's helicopters(if you've worked on keeping in good contact with him).
Just a note to Horny Melon about acquiring henchmen.
If you've acquired a good friendship level with a certain character in the game you can call him to send you some goons to help you out with missions or just general mayhem.
If you haven't thoroughly played the game to understand it's mechanics then it doesn't deserve this score and is automatically discredited.

Is it necessary to remind yourself about that each week? I think that point is over saturated by now. But on another note I can't take the Wii seriously at all so I don't care what place it is.
However, PS3's sales reflect the GTAIV build up to launch, which was expected even though Microsoft ran the GTAIV ads with their console, it was still outsold.
Also, what the hell is going on with 360's software numbers? UEFA is the top selling 360 game at #29 with 20,000 copi...

I honestly haven't touched the multiplayer yet, so I was completely unaware of all these network problems.
I'm more than satisfied with the single player portion of the game, but I might check out multiplayer soon, maybe next week.
I have a 60GB launch console and everything went off without a hitch this morning.
Sorry for all those having problems, hopefully a patch is on the way soon cuz this game is out of this world good.
Actually the full screen option is pretty nice, I was watching tv for a good 30mins(in full screen) when I first turned on the tv. The shows and commercials are HILARIOUS!!! The 360 being gimped of the feature isn't a huge deal, but it's still a nice little extra that adds immersion to the overall GTAIV gameplay experience.
yeah the launch was pretty small and quiet.
I was expecting a huge uproar and fireworks in the city lol.
However I'm getting non-stop phone calls from my friends who went to pick up their copy this morning and others who are getting it after work, it's crazy lol.
