I have the 980 plain, running all latest games 1440p at 60fps, granted gotta set the shadows down to achieve that, but she still works beaut.
I have my 4k monitor, most games run 30fps, not worth the fps drop just for 4k, can barley tell the diff on such a small screen between 4k and 1440p anyways.
Once day I'll upgrade, but not any time soon.
Now days I'd rather wait a year or so and get the COMPLETE game, with most/all bug fixes for a fair price.
Over use of DLC's killed day one purchases for me, why would I pay full price for half a game?
