Even though PS3 sales declined (80GB MGS4 bundle out, probably??), MGS4 is holding strong.
Looking at the comments section, MGS4 was released in Spain (and Spain loves PS3).
GTA4 on the PS3 and the 360 is showing some great legs. Crisis Core gets released, I want those limited Edition Crisis Core PSPs I believe was released in Europe. Good job, SCEE.

True, we've been getting lots of Killzone 2 in Game Events such as this, but it is a strategic decision on Sony's part to build up the hype, and yes, since the footage kicks a$$, who the hell is complaining? I am just sad that my FFXIII is getting no attention at all, lost in the shadows. Square Enix needs to speak up, please.

Looking as to how the previous installments fared in Japan, it comes as no big surprise. Still, first week sales (according to Vgchartz, yes) were huge, and it should reach 1M sales in the Japan region in its lifetime.
You can take any approach (Stealth or Run and gun) in MGS4, try doing that in your Queers of War which is pretty much linear. Cutscenes are fantastic in MGS4, so much depth. I wouldnt say MGS4 proved Sony's superiority though, because it was already done with Uncharted, R&C, GTP. MGS4 only cemented the fact and engraved it in stone.

I wouldnt say it is the King just yet, Prince maybe, but definitely not the king. Microsoft definitely has strong RPG lineups in 2008, and early 2009 as seen in the RPG press conference. But the PS3 isnt far behind yet. For some, FFXIII will undoubetly be a critical choice in making the $400 decision, and yes, we all know it will be huge in Japan, Europe and the Americas. Team ICO's new game, KH3 (Keeping my fingers crossed) will also keep fans guessing who is indeed the true RPG king.

Not that it is tough to find games after the PSN overhaul, but a Search feature definitely is extremely welcome.
