With the price dropping like crazy, if you have the extra 200 bucks, I believe you should opt for the 1080P, no question. The article is also talking about 100Hz technology when companies have already started rolling out the 120Hz. Your best bet is to buy a TV with response time less than 12 ms for gaming (Correct me if I am wrong), a LCD TV (Not Plasma), 1080P of course.
If you have read the latest edition of EGM (and this is for everyone else too), it states that not all levels of the game will look so .. bleak. Some levels will feature the natural beauty of Helghan.

I was hoping that they would add trophy support for this game, since it is one of my most played games. As good as IW may be, they are supposedly very lazy. No rumble patch, WTF? I was hoping that I would get a gold trophy for getting all the prestiges.
