Multiplayer isn't worth the stay after you get Platinum.
Better visuals, faster loading, better d-pad, Trophies, and no 12 year old racists whining at you online like XBL has.
I bet Microsoft paid them to say that.
Plus, Stoked's visuals kinda blow.
I will be getting this on day-one. Killzone 2 is a huge win for PS3 gamers, but an even bigger win for the PS3 itself, as it is the only console possible of producing such a phenomenal visual prowess.
And as for visuals, Killzone 2 > Resident Evil 5.
Resistance 2 is the better game, by far IMO, better in every way and we all know it.
But soon we'll have Free Realms and The Agency, and MAG might as well be an MMO Shooter with it's 256 player online.
I love Collector's Editions and steelbook casing, and with the "steel" look of Killzone 2 the theme of a steelbook really suits it.
Day-one purchase! :D

Hell, it's free, we really don't have the right to argue against a small delay. This definitely seems interesting and I'm hoping for Trophy support to top it off. :D
Every game on that list will be at the very least worth a rent.
I will most certainly hold out on getting a 360 now and wait for the definitive PS3 version.
