What Sony should do:
1) Focus on supporting the developers they already have with their amazing games.
2) If they have to buy, buy smaller studios, then give them a bigger budget to make better games, like the developers of Hades.
3) Stop focusing on American culture and pleasing the idiots in their bubble in San Francisco, their culture is toxic and the world is turning away from them. A more nationalistic, Japanese approach similar to its golden days in the 80'...
You're gunna be crying real soon when you're living in an episode of Black Mirror.
"You'll own nothing, and you'll be happy. Now eat the bugs and go to sleep in your pod."
People have been saying that for five years now when they started their spending spree all the way back then. It's picking up and once they have the potential momentum they could get it would be almost unstoppable, but we've been saying this for five years and its driving me nuts.
Playstation: "We've spent 26 years doing our best, earning our fans trust and respect by making incredible consoles with incredible games. This has helped us dominate the market, and we earned it. What can you do to beat us Xbox?"
Xbox: "Imma just use my dads money to buy everything."
Sony: "Wait what? What do you mean everything?"
Xbox: "I mean everything. Bethesda, Activision, Sega soon and if Ni...
I'm exclusively a Sony and PC player so it doesn't bother me, but I can't say I would have still bought my PS5 if the exclusives were cross released day one. Might be a gamble for them profitability wise but it doesn't seem to be hurting Xbox this generation.
Xbox is being far more competitive this gen, I think they're sales are neck and neck with Sony, but I feel Sony would be double it's numbers now if it wasn't for the logistics crunch happening around the world right now. Maybe day and day release on consoles and pc's is a losing strategy, but I'm not sure yet.
Genuine question: Why the disdain amongst Sony fans for brining Sony games to PC? I understand if it was Nintendo or Xbox, but PC isn't a competitor to Sony, it's not even a console. So why the hesitancy?
Wot???
Horizon Forbidden West is number 10 but Redfall and Saints Row is 9 and 8? Those two don't even deserve to be in the list, let alone above Horizon. 7 and above are good picks though, ngl.
It got mediocre ratings because it featured a strong, masculine, hetero, white male and most gaming journalists live in California. California is fucking ass, I wish it could be trade it for Japan.
Top 20 was fair. Don't think Fable 2 and Fortnite should be on the list at all though, but at least they put TLoU1 higher up on the list than TLoU2 this time.
