The prices for these controllers are ridiculous. They cost as much as games.

I'm just as excited for this game as the rest of you.....but maybe we should hold off on the "best game" stuff until it actually releases.
I just took advantage of this deal. Now I have this game and Skyrim preordered. Unfortunately I had to pay sales tax cause I live in one of the three states that they have a warehouse or something. Still was a good deal though.

Let's be honest here. If it wasn't for the success of Halo on the Xbox a lot of these console shooter would of stayed on the PC. I don't think many of these devs would have taken a chance if it wasn't for Halo.
Isn't it amazing that I end up playing with that less than 1% all the time. Just my bad luck I guess.

That's bullshit. $60 x 1 million sold games, do the math. They raised the price to make more money. I've heard bullshit excuses like that 3 gens ago. N64 games were ridiculously overpriced cause they blamed it on the cartridge. It's just an excuse to squeeze more money out our wallets. Also PC games are still the same price and their tech blows away anything on consoles.
You're missing the big picture. It doesn't matter if you buy your games new. Say you wanted to lend that game to a friend, well now he can't even try it out online. What if you wanted to trade the game in after your done with it? Now you're going to get even less trade in credit then before. All of these pay passes just scream greed. If they really want to increase sales then lower the damn price of new games. What the hell am I paying $60 for? Most of these games lack feature...
I just bought Battlefield 2 again for $10 at Gamestop recently. Had it for the original Xbox. That is exactly why they are shutting these games down. They don't want anyone buying these games used and playing them online. They want you to buy the newer used games that have an online pass you have to pay for.
Why is it that only the gaming industry fights used sales? You release your game, make your money, and then you move on. Tell you what game publishers/devs. Buy your shit games back from us and resell them yourselves.

There is nothing wrong with it if you're playing a PC game. I would rather not deal with it on consoles.
