IRetrouk, you keep saying something happen to his Xbox. What malfunction happen? You're extrapolating that something is wrong when its pretty much what the One X does. Yes the One X case, vents will get warm and hot air will blow out the back in standby mode if the system updating or whatever. In the video he said it was doing something while in standby mode. If the system was completely off and started to heat up that would be one think, but he said it was in standby.

IRetrouk what happen to his xbox? Did it shut down? Was there a blinking light? It seems you doing a lot of concern trolling. I don't know if you have an Xbox One X or not but it does the exact same thing in stand by just like the other guest in the podcast mentioned. It will update the console in standby mode and you feel hot air exhausting out the back of it.
I'll just add MS has sent out dozens of Sereis X consoles to media/youtube people all over the world. The...
Microsoft said the metal casing of the Seagate external SSD acts a heat sink. So it will get warm. It seems he was downloading data to the SSD while in stand by so the one fan turns on to keep the system cool. The One X does that also.
If that's true that would mean the difference in the PS5 temperature and the ambient temperature wouldn't be much different. Don't know how that makes it "cold" unless the PS5 has an evaporator coil and refrigerant we don't know about in it.
Remains cold? That's interesting but this is the definition of a "controlled environment" though. Hopefully Sony sends out units soon to media too so we can see it in real peoples home/offices environments.
Thats good that we have people like you. Folks with the disposable income for $70+ games are needed. I have my Series X preordered and I'm paid up for Gamepass till 2023. Thats all I plan on shelling out because I'm poor so we going to need the rest of yall to #supportthedevs at full retail price.
Dynamic ~ Variable. Coincidence?
Boost Mode? Why can't it just brute force the cpu/gpu at all times like the Series X is doing?
Oodle Kraken and Oodle texture isn't proprietary to Sony. It can be used on any console/pc. On the Rad website they say most major publishers already have licenses to their technologies so Sony including a license is redundant.
Psst. You don't "own" games. They are licensed to you. Also you can still buy the game that are in Gamepass. At a 20% discount too. Future's bright!
Features Series S has that has yet to be confirmed on PS5

The $24.99 All Access would be a great deal for a casual gamer on a budget. I'm paying $17/month for 4K Netflix. So to get a console and immediate access to hundreds of games with Gamepass/EA Play and day/date access to all Microsoft 1st party new releases for $25/month is an amazing deal. Its a really good bargain even for someone who picks up a PS5 as main console.
Xbox needs to just keep doing what their doing. Delivering value.
12 months.
1080p/1440p games will be much smaller than 4k games.
Trying to find something to be negative about in an otherwise positive Xbox day. Lol.
Sony said they were planning to bring more games over.

RTX 3090 is also missing the CPU, memory, blu-ray drive, case, power supply, etc. not to mention Stability that you get from a console.
I thought PS5 would be ahead of PC for a few years?
Well I think you should look at the full podcast video on Youtube.

At the 26:30 point he goes to unhook the Series X and has no issues with touching case. He's holding the console for several minutes while showing it off to the rest of the panel. Only when he pulls out the external SSD and touches the metal part that functions as a heat sink he mention that its hot,...
